Houseboat Sweet Star

It was really amazing to stay on sweet star houseboat on Jhelum river. Warm and smiley welcome by Mr.arif owner was too kind for us. We actually booked only one night stay but their love like family and GHAR KA Khanaa forced us extend our stay for our whole trip that is of 6days 5nights , which is amazing. The houseboat family also stays on the same boat which will always make u feel like your homestay, their family is serves you in every manner. We always customize our food which is very good point for us to stay in future to avoid Hotels menu and Bahar ka Khana etc. The houseboat is situated at very good place near by market in VIP Area of Srinagar and hardly 30mins away from airport. Very spacious room, cleanest room, cleanest washrooms and with river side window which we always sit in dusk and dawn same with balcony view, amazing experience. If one wants to feel like it home , we recommend to stay sweet star. They have very good network with taxi & drivers with a good bonding and as compared to other houseboats this is full of amenities with economically cheaper rates

I was attracted to Srinagar by the charm of staying on a houseboat, which provides the unique experience of living on the water in a spanielled elegant bedroom, with all the conveniences of a luxury Houseboat Sweet Star, Houseboat Sweetstar is like a luxury Houseboat Sweet Star, has fine furniture, good carpets and modern bathroom fittings. It provides a balcony in the front, a lounge, dining room and bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Some time staying in a houseboat could give you the feeling of being trapped in the water as you are dependent on shikara all the time to come to the bank. But Houseboat Sweet star is directly is accessible from the banks which sets you absolutely free.

Very pleasant location & the best houseboat in Jhelum River. Very courteous staff & the owner Mr. Zafar. They arranged all the best food preparation as per our choice & beautiful candle light dinner was arranged for us overlooking the Jhelum River. Location is very convenient near the Jhelum Park & a km drive to the city centre Lalo Chowk. If ever I plan to stay towards Jhelum side Houseboat Sweet Star will be my first choice to stay. Thank you Mr. Zafar for everything due to which it was memorable trip to Kashmir.

House boat sweet star is located in jhelum riven and hence its peaceful compared to houseboats at dal lake. The owners specially the is very friendly and welcoming. Stay was pleasant. However, in the evening its tough to find the Houseboat Sweet Star as the lighting in the streets is poor. I personally would recommend Houseboat Sweet Stars in nigeen lake. I enjoyed the kashmiri kahwa in the Houseboat Sweet Star. I had dinner and a quick breakfast which was ok. The stay was silent and peaceful

Very nice boat, neat and clean room and bathroom. Awesome room interior that I like most. Staff are very corporative in nature. I celebrated my child birthday at boat house. They serve us home made food that I like most. Location wise it is best because near to Lal chok 0.5 km main city area. Very nice location. Far better from taking house boat at Dal jeel you not required any sikara to go to local shopping again and again.

Room size is good enough with a bed 3 chairs and a table for keeping your immediate things like mobile, goggles etc. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was very cooperative. A nice flat tv was available with all the features. Homemade food quality was awesome. I will highly recommend this houseboat for anyone visiting here.

Neat and clean house boat, near of lal chowk area, house boat owner Siraz Bhai is very good man, and very very cooperative for their guest, I love for his hospitality. I would love to visit again.

Room is near and clean. Hospitality of boat owner & family is cordial. Food is homely. One may not get the ambience of dal lake but very suitable for people who want to be independent of house boat team for exit and entry. May go for nice morning walk without the help of a sikara boat. Over all nice stay

The house boat is clean and opposite government silk factory. The owner and his family are very warm, trustworthy and helpful.

The Houseboat is pretty decent and well maintained. What overshadows everything else is the hospitality of the people running it! It just feels so homely and comfortable. You will definitely not Miss home food here. The location is easily accessible and transport isn't a problem. I would definitely recommend this place!

It's a Houseboat Sweet Star so of course there sure is sweetness and Star like experience as Long as we stayed there. The staff is courteous and friendly, facilities are available.
