Hotel Vajra Residency

I stayed in room no 503. Basic amenities like towel n sleeper was not provided. Room was not well illuminated damp and a typical stinking smsll. D blanket cover was dirty. On 9th jun e 24 there was no power supply from 10pm at night to 12noon on the next day. No power back up. The bathroom floor had damaged tiles which caused minor cuts in my feet. The food was ok type but exorbitantly priced. D only gd thing was staff behaviour. I hd tremendous pain in lower back n my legs de helped me out wide hot water bag

When i booked the room. It was showing. Mountain hill view but when i reached to hotel they gave non view room and more over room was very dirty it’s like servant room. When i asked to change it the owner was saying i need to pay extra for it. After long discussion and arguments they change my room.

Though the room was spacious, but bathroom was not so clean and badly maintained. Though breakfast included fruit juice, same was not provided. Food was good and rates reasonable.

Location is good. Food also good but little bit costly. Services not upto the mark i. E. Hotel manager has refused to provide a extra bedsheet directly, not been acceptable.

Good staff behaviour, good room, friendly atmosphere

Very pleased to stay in such a friendly environment. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Those who want to visit gangtok, without having any doubt in mind can directly choose vajra residency. Location is too good only 5 min from mg marg where u can chill out in the evening. And if u hove any plan for further tour at gangtok u can share your plan with the staff, they will help u to plan your journey very smoothly. Rooms are clean, hygiene and about the food its your's choice.

Firstly a big thanks to Mr Tamal Chakraborty with whom I've contacted after booking the hotel. After conveyed our itinerary about the Sikkim tour he arranged the Nathula pass along with other two spot which required a permit to visit and indeed its a very tough one to get during peak season. Me and my family reached Gangtok from chandannagar by self driven car on 27th August 22 around 7pm by halting at raiganj in between. As informed by Mr Tamal Chakraborty, his hotel manager Mr kush das called us on our way to guide the location of the hotel after a long and hectic drive on hills. After reaching there we got a warm welcome by Mr Sinha and mr das. Allocated our rooms on the fourth floor we ordered for the dinner.The 3 rooms allocated to us are all the front view of kanchenjungha though it was monsoon we haven't got the chance to view the grand mountain ranges. The next day we visited the Nathula pass sightseeing with a private car arranged by the hotel was the most memorable experience we have ever had. The food offered to us by the hotel was awesome as whatever we asked for has been served accordingly. On the following day we went to rumtek monastery on the the other side of gangtok along with some other sightseeing with a private car was again arranged by the hotel manager Mr kush das.Mr Sinha has given a clear picture of Sikkim exploration which we are planning for the next trip.on the returning day ie on 30th August 22 we got a warm see off from the hotel staff along with the executives. though the trip was very short but it was a very successful one. About the hotel, it was just five mins walking distance from the famous Mg road of gangtok and is located on the heart of the city with all modern gangtok very few hotel have lift facilities along with car parking.but this hotel have both the facilities which is the main reason I've booked this hotel as we have senior citizens and we've taken our own car as well. As a whole thanks to the team of vajra residency and we are totally satisfied with the hospitality they provide to us during the stay. Hope to stay at the same hotel next time as well.

Hotel is 5min walking from mg road. Rooms are clean. Will definitely recommend this hotel. Staff and manager are also well behaved and ready to help.

Tv not working, geyser not working after 1st day

Value for money Hotel. Can improve breakfast

The positions of this Hotel is very good, near to mg marg, food also good, services they're provided for both adults and child are also good. Lift facilities are very essential for my older Mom, always warm water available. Staffs are also very good.

Excellent stay with excellent view from our room at the heart of the Gangtok City

Every window of our room is mountain facing. It was such a pleasant experience staying in this hotel. Staffs are good but manager is okay okay. MG Marg is just 5 mins walking.

Windows were not sealed and because of that room was cold. Staff were not that cooperative and helpful. We were staying there for 3 nights and on our last night of stay there was no current in our room. They even don't have backups for this kind of situation. After a lot of request they gave us electric kettle so we can drink warm water, which should be included in the facilities. Geyser was not working properly.

We stayed one night at Vajra. Location bit far from m. G Road and no power back. They have just a inverter no powerful power backup system. We faced problem due to power cut. Staff behavior is good food is good.

Average Hotel. Spacious rooms. Not very friendly staff people.

Room is not cleaned, but isolated, view was awesome. Footmat was dirty, bed sheet and pillow covers were dirty. Smell was coming from wash room.

Hotel room was spacious and cleaned. MG Road is walkable distance from hotel. Good location. Lift facility and parking is also available. Overall experience is good.

Good hotel staff members are very good. Wonderful experience to stay there. Food quality is not up to the mark.
