Hotel The Great Ananda

It was just an average hotel where facilities and services were not upto the level. Also, food was not good

I have never had such a pathetic experience like this. I stayed in this hotel once more when it was brand new but with time, the quality of rooms and service both have deteriorated drastically. Half of the hotel has been given on temporary lease so the objective of operator is to just earn profit during season without caring for customer satisfaction as he won't be there in next season probably. When i reached, i was told that there is no room in ananda where i booked however the other half which is on lease with name continental, there will be rooms in that. The owner of that hotel denied that there is no discussion with him like this. After drive of 10 hours i wasted 30 mins waiting for this issue to get resolved. Finally got the rooms but tv wasn't working in any room and bathroom taps were not functioning properly. The bedsheets were very dirty and smelly and the furniture in the room was very old and damaged. I booked this hotel as it is adjacent to the gate of shantikunj and i went to visit shantikunj only so it was a strategic location however there are much better hotels available in the vicinity with the same or lower rates. I am never going to stay again in this hotel.

Hotel location is very good as it is very near to Shantikunj and Shaparishi ashram. Services are good.

Gate number 5 of Shantikunj is a step away. So it's good for someone who couldn't find space in Shantikunj. Very convenient to visit Shantikunj. Though the hotel was a bit old. Rooms were stinky but not the worst.

Very bed behave and hotel not well clean and not maintained. Hotel condition is very bad and the service is very bad, not a good hotel.

Every thing is good but I have to change many rooms some rooms ac is not working and etc and bathroom is not good

The hotel was not worth the charge. Also not compromise from any one to give more facility. AC was not worked. Only electricity backups was available. All the interior is very old. Cleaning was not proper.

They have charged very high from us tor tea

The location is not good, Washroom was not clean there was no exhaust in Washroom. Overpriced. 4-5 kms ahead from Har ki Pauri.

Please provide right information, this hotel is not a har ki Pauri, this hotel 3 km distance for har ki Pauri.

Waste of money. Terrible rooms and bathrooms, far from hygiene and cleanliness. It's better to stay in a lodge instead. Not at all recommended for a family.

Literally one of my worst experiences, The elevator wasn't working, The room lights weren't working, The actual room was very bad compared to shown in The pictures, The pictures were way too exaggerated The actual room wasn't even close to them. Even The bathroom equipments weren't working, no maintenance, i'm really dissatisfied

Bad experience room was not clean. I book it for 2 days and I leave it after 1 night.

Situated beside shanty fun in a serene place. Easily accessible from Road. Facilities are good, parking place available.
