Hotel Shahigarh (Inside Jaisalmer Fort)

Apart from small problems like searching for the hotel and parking, reaching the hotel is a bit tricky you have to park you vehicle (4 wheeler) somewhere else n then take a auto to the hotel. Apart from all this issues the stay was great as the hospitality of the owners is welcoming.

Room was very small but the location was good. Overall services were good.

The fort was very well decorated and the deepavali festive mode was still on with crackers bursting and the sky lit with fireworks. We reached the hotel at 10:30 pm and were welcomed to a very beautifully and aesthetically pleasant location. The coordinator was helpful in explaining the things to do around and helped with restaurant, pick up, etc which made it very comfortable for us with the kids. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. The quilt can be cleaned better. You shouldn’t expect a lot of amenities inside the hotel as it is part of live fort and hence they maintain the same ambience.

Washroom without mirrors, lock and ventilation. Lighting could be improved.

Tv not working, average hotel but price is too high.

No TV in room. Kind of not expected by any hotel now days. Have to describe properly what facilities they are providing, not proper information about room on MMT. Overall good stay. Staff was good and cooperative.
