The Goods: The location of the Hotel Saffron is perfect for Temple and Ghat visits. They are just within walking distance. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate three people. E-Rickshaw and Autos are available right outside the Hotel Saffron gate for travel, sightseeing etc. The Hotel Saffron is placed around good shopping places and eateries, so one can enjoy food and shopping with relatively less walking. The attached restaurant provides good hygienic and tasty food, though the prices may seem slightly high to some people. The Bad: The room service can be improved. For a simple water bottle delivery to the room, one has to remind them multiple times, and yet they keep forgetting. On a personal note, while I do not have an issue with charging for extra water bottles, the daily free water bottles for a room with three persons should be at least 5 bottles(These are small 750ml water bottles and they provide only 2 or 3 bottles free of cost per day). The service at the restaurant is quite slow. They seem to focus on people with larger groups which will increase their overall order value per table. I was with my parents and had to wait 20 mins just to give our order and then another 30 mins to get our Mini Thali. It wasn't even crowded during the time of placing our order. The only main USP of this Hotel Saffron is its location. That is the only reason for its high room rent, I believe. Do not expect facilities like a 3-star Hotel Saffron. It is good enough with basic amenities for a short 2-3 night stay at most.

For a medium budget , Hotel Saffron is very good though smaller in size but at bigger road . Proper space is left for ventilation . Room and wash room size is well planned and appropriate. Wash rooms are neat n clean .Restaurant is very good for vegetarians and room service is very fast specially by Mr Giri .Main advantage is very near to Kashi Vishwanath temple gate no 4 .Also popular Kashi Chat Bhandar is nearby . Areas of improvement, AC, geyser and fan needs timely maintenance as well as bedsheets can be of better quality.

One of the best places to stay in Varanasi! The staff, food, hospitality, and rooms are excellent. I’m truly grateful to everyone—be it the staff, reception managers, or the entire team—for their outstanding service. They went above and beyond to accommodate my mom’s restricted diet due to health issues, which meant a lot to us. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, making the stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend booking without a second thought—you’ll absolutely love it!

Comfortable room with simple amenities and very good helpful staff. Restaurant serves decent choice of vegetarian food. If one travels with more than a carry on, accessing Hotel Saffron in an electric rickshaw or cab is impossible due to severe traffic restrictions around this place. Important temples and Aarathi spots , shopping areas are close by.

Best Hotel in the Godowlia area I have come across so far. The rooms are very good and the room service is also awesome. This Hotel Saffron is located very close to nearest bus stop and auto stand. They also have very famous restaurant whose food is very tasty and yummy. I really recommend this place to everyone.

As we taken deluxe room the room was too small . but the location was lots of connectivity and food was good and lots of varieties only one reception person was there who was not much helpful and supportive but overall staff is good n helping

Location is at very good place. It's near the Baba Vishwanath temple. Bedsheet and blanket were not properly washed and cleaned. Foods quality are very good.
