Hotel New Sonar Bangla

The hotel is in extremely poor organisation, with certain window parts that are not correctly fixed. The commode and water tap in the bathroom were in deterioration and the bathroom was extremely dirty. There was no geyser system. There was a generator that had been operating for some time, but there was no electric inverter. However, the hotel was in an excellent position, and the view from the room was amazing. Additionally, the staff provided their utmost assistance.

Hospitality was excellent. Room & view was very good. Food was very homely. However room could have been much more clean. Would love to visit again.

I had made payment twice till date mm t not return the payment. Please refund the excess payment.

The location is very nice, you can see the nature from the room. The wall and floor is made of wood hence sound from other rooms is clearly audible. I would suggest people should book the first floor only. No geyser available but hot water is available on demand.

Clean spacious room and bathroom. TV with Channel. Great view of Kanchenjunga from room and premises. Food is cheaper than other places of Rishyap. Good behavior and staff. Best in Rishyap.

Excellent location in Rishyap. On the main road. Best courtyard among Rishyap hotels. Kanchenjunga can be seen right from the bed. The best view among the hotels. Try to book the upper floor rooms. It is one of the first hotels in the area.

This Hotel is at the best location of Rishyap. Clear view of mountain range from room. Food is really tasty. The best part is staffs are so friendly that you will feel like at home. Rooms are really big. If you really want to stay away from all the noise of City then choose this location. This location is really refreshing. Even you can arrange bonfire at night. May be the choice of food is limited, may be there is no shop nearby. Yet if you can carry the necessary things beforehand then I bet you w ill enjoy the nature at its best from Sonar Bangla.

Terrible stay at New Sonar Bangla Hotel. Booked this place for two nights, but the service and cleanliness was so bad that we had leave after the first night itself. We couldn't stay the second night even though the payment was made. After arrival at this hotel we got to know about the and we could make out that our stay was not going to be a comfortable one. This was one bad experience, which is gone take quite some time to come out of it.

Stayed for a single night, food was good, location was good, you can have a great view from it's lawn. Approach Road towards the Hotel was horrible, no room heater/geyser available. Temp was 6 degrees, coffee was terrible. They don't know how to make a coffee, too much power cut.

Nice big wooden room and nice bathroom. Best snow mountain view from room's window like Kanchanjangha and Nathula range. Cleanliness is okay. Room service is okay but need small improvement. Coffee and Waiwai noodles taste was very nice.
