Hotel Navaratna Palace

Rooms and washrooms were not clean. Had to ask for basic toiletries. AC was not functioning well.Location was good.

My stay at Navaratna Hotel in Mangalore had an average experience. The hotel's amenities and services were satisfactory, but didn't exceed expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, but lacked some modern touches. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there's room for improvement to meet industry standards.

Accommodation is decent. No restaurant. Location is good. It is at the heart of Mangaluru

At first glance, the hotel looks quite appealing from the outside, which gave me the impression that the stay would be pleasant. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be quite the opposite. Here are the key issues I faced during my stay: 1. The elevator was extremely unreliable – pressing the button to go up often meant waiting over 10 minutes. 2. The main door lock was faulty; the key would get stuck and wouldn’t turn, making it difficult to enter the room. 3. There was no hot water available at any time during my stay. 4. Towels and bed sheets were unhygienic and appeared unwashed. 5. The room lacked proper ventilation, making it feel stuffy and uncomfortable. 6. Water was leaking from the ceiling, which was both unpleasant and concerning. 7. The TV in the room didn’t work at all. 8. The bathroom flush was completely broken. 9. Customer service was poor – the staff were unresponsive and unhelpful. 10. Upon entering the room, there was a persistent foul smell that made the space feel unclean. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience that did not meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel rooms are very old bedsheets pillow case are worn out . Bathroom very dirty . Lift is very slow. No toiletires supply. Only one small soap and 1 towel was given that was faded colour

Property is old and rooms are maintained as per booking format. If you book directly with hotel, they may give you proper room and service. We stayed for 4 days with kid travelling along with us, but no room service, until we requested 2 day continuously and stayed at hotel for particular time when their staff work, then it was cleaned, no phone in room to connect with help desk. Also one surprise we got, for stain removal from bed sheet their manager told bed sheet cost is 3000 so we will get charged 1000.

room is not clean as mention in app.. all Fenetute is too old.. it's not maintain well. but only positive is that got hot water

By mistake I booked in this hotel instead of nearby good hotel where I stayed earlier. The room was stinking and I felt suffocating. There was a foul smell all over the lodge. Also there was no proper car parking facility.

Hotel was good with Good service and staff are very nice and City centre mall is just infront of hotel that's a absolutely breath taking.

Overall experience was very bad . Since we were not given the basic ammenenities as we asked for a glass of water which they refused.walls of rooms were leaky . Washrooms were very pathetic since there was not even a hanger to hang clothes ,toilet seat was broken and not up to the mark.And overall you made us very disappointed as we thought we are in a good hand by choosing make my trip but it didn’t happen so . With this experienced you lost our trust to book any faculties from you .

Stay was comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful. Follows check in time strictly.

Booked using MMT option of Budget NonAc - no food expected. Booked this place while in drive to Mangalore as it was ver close to meeting venue early next morning. And location is literally opposite City Centre Mall. Regretted the booking😔 1. Rooms: good and spacious 2. Amenities: Lousy. No hot water available till 8 am when I had already mentioned that my meeting was at 0730 am. No fone in room. No coffee maker or hot water kettle. 3. Safety and hygiene: Had to change rooms as the initial room allotted was dirty and walls were moldy and unclean. Basin Taps and health faucets were not fitted properly in both the room. 4. Food: Food was not part of the booking, but room service was also not available 👎👎 5. Staff: staff were ok, but for any issues reported, they wud encourage to take up the fully paid room per night. 6. Security Hazard: keyhole are NOT blocked with key flaps, so peeping from outside thru keyhole is possible. Also, we could never manage to open room door without calling the staff. If hotel mgmt is not keen to provide service to MMT Budget option travellers, Then why provide the booking options on MMT in first place??

while booking they mentioned breakfast is complimentary but when we checked in hotel, owner of hotel denied complimentary breakfast rooms are also shabby and unclean

Bathroom taps was not working properly. ....... Bedsheet is too small...... Bathroom was not clean....

Unethical practice they will collect early check-in charges, but refused to give receipt, very rude staff, pathetic service, ac not working, shifted to second room, their electric sockets weren't not working, bathroom cleaning wasn't upto the mark.

washrooms aren't clean, AC not functioning, changed 2 rooms, they don't provide receipt for early check-in charges, fought 1hr for after making the payment to get receipt. very arrogant staff, pathetic services, curtains don't cover full window, non functional sockets.
