Hotel Jagdamba

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Jagdamba during our trip to Vaishno Devi. The location was perfect—just a short 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive from Katra Railway Station, making it extremely convenient for travelers. The property itself was beautiful, with a lush green park and swings that added a touch of serenity. Having breakfast outdoors in the sun was a refreshing change from the usual buffet experience and truly enhanced our stay. The food was delightful, especially the parathas and chole bhature, which were absolutely delicious. While we booked deluxe rooms and found them satisfactory, we were particularly happy to have a room connected to a spacious balcony in the front (facade area), which provided a lovely view. What truly made our stay exceptional was the hospitality, especially from Abhi Sharma at the restaurant. His warm and welcoming nature, even during busy breakfast and dinner hours, ensured that guests were well taken care of. His willingness to accommodate last-minute requests, including a late-night request for a glass of milk for a baby in our group, speaks volumes about his dedication to guest satisfaction. I firmly believe that while a property’s brand, ambiance, and food are important, it is the service that truly makes a place stand out. Thanks to the outstanding hospitality, I will be recommending this Hotel Jagdamba to my friends and will certainly return for another stay in the future.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Jagdamba jagdamba. Every staff member i encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! thank you! will recommend to my colleagues!

1. Receptionists are very gentle and polite. Behaviour is also decent. 2. The room is good but little old. Needs some renovation. But quite well as well connectivity. 3. To stay for mata rani darshan it's ok.
