Excellent Stay
Great property, beautiful scenery with very humble staff.. Improvement in food can be considered but overall service was excellent. Room and property cleanliness can get full marks We visited the tea state and explained the process of tea making.
Average Stay
Food- they have very limited options. We had preference of non veg but non veg items are only one.also they try to serve very limited. They don't keep the food items in front of you and you have to ask each time. Location is good but the tea estate is not that vast and beautiful when compared to south tea estates. But rooms were beautiful and spacious. Staff were polite and courteous. No much activities except they have billiards and library.
Excellent Stay
The stay at going tea was incredible. The service, the staff is truly wonderful. The property is beautiful, the estates are extravagant and the stay is memorable. Highly recommend
Comfortable stay admist the tea gardens
The property is very well maintained and staff is courteous. A little more interaction might be appreciated since there is not much to do in the evenings. Rooms very pretty and the view is beautiful. Overall a good experience.
Very bad experience
The place is not maintained well, you can smell mold in the place, walls have cracks. The food provided is average to say the least, the staff serves food and after one helping take it away ! very limited option, no buffet and la’ crate also they provide as per seasonal veg, not much option, you cannot request food of your own choice. There was no reception to ask anything. It’s a small cottage with 6 rooms and a common dining table. The place is like circuit house or a government guest house of the bygone era which has sadly not been maintained at all. Only the plus point is location, views are nice but the service provided by them is not up to the mark !
Isolated peaceful property
View was beautiful. Food was authentic and tasty.

Heavenly abode of north bengali
Nestled amid-st the tea garden, this little and quaint place is perfect for a getaway from your hustling and bustling city life with well maintained clean and hygienic colonial era rooms and personalized service making it a breathtaking experience.
Heaven on earth!
If you are looking for a serene and peaceful place to stay, along with awesome food.If you want to be one with nature and looking for busting your stress. If you are looking for a place where you get warmth like home...this is THE PLACE TO BE. Thank you to the entire team of Ging Tea House, especially, Mr. Andrew, the Manager and the Chef for making our stay so much special.
Very well maintained property
Nestled in the hing tea garden in lebong valley 8 km away from the hustle and bustle of darjeeling city centre. Pros 1. Very well maintained property 2. Excellent service by manager (mr andrew, other supporting staff 3. Serenity and tranquility cons 1. Last 100m of the approach road is terribly bad 2. Food served doesn't have variation and chefs efficiency is quite doubtful ( we suffered stomach upset following lunch on 2nd day) 3. Not value for money as the amount charged for the service provided is exorbitantly high considering the quality, taste and variation in the food menu
Lifetime experience
Go there with family friend or any close knitted group to enjoy the fantastic property!
Difficult to reach, last few miles has pathetic road condition, overpriced dinner/lunch. But. You will enjoy every moment staying there! the manager and all the staffs are very courteous and professional! the food tastes quiet good and the almond cakes offered with tea was nice to munch along. The bonfire along with the live performance by the local chaps were enough to set up the mood for the rest of the stay! this is once a lifetime experience!
Great one night stay for original feel of Darjeeling

Great stay
The property is a beautiful colonial bungalow in the Ging Tea estate. All inclusive stay with breathtaking views and the factory visit. There was live performance on the lawn at night and you have the serene night and the wonderful morning all for yourself. The bathroom was spacious but lacked water pressure. Also in season time the drop and return from Darjeeling Town to the resort is quite expensive. This should be a must visit place if one is visiting Darjeeling. The staffs were wonderful.
