Four Seasons Homestay

I would firstly like to mention Mrs. Mary & Mr. Johnson for their outstanding hospitality and for their care. Secondly, a big thanks to them for the delicious home cooked food, especially with them cooking food out of their bedroom since their kitchen is under renovation. They also got us warm water and tea/coffee as needed, which I appreciate a lot. It was of course disappointing we could not get them to cook what we wanted (like starters / snacks etc.), but that's more for MMT. I specifically chose homestay when I was looking for listings, because they generally serve home cooked meals (at separate cost or all inclusive, whichever). The accommodation itself was a let down because it was very basic - it was clean, but just not worth the kind of money we paid. The lighting was not sufficient, the bedding was basic, the TV wouldn't work, etc. The road leading to the property is narrow, so if you are on a big vehicle, watch out! The parking can accommodate one car, but if you are driving a sedan, it is going to be a task getting in and out. Also, make sure to carry mosquito repellent because the greenery attracts them. Again, wonderful hosts, but taking into account everything else, I am not happy with MMT charging me what they did for this property.

The room facility was good. The activity was not conducted. I had visited this home stay for family trip. I had booked in advance. I got discount in this home stay. I was satisfied with room price. The room was spacious and clean .The parking facility was good. There was no problem in check-in and check-out. I would like to recommend this home stay for upcoming travelers. The overall experience of the home stay was good. I don t have any suggestion for this home stay.

One of the best home stay in Wayanad. If you wish to have safe and hygienic place within your budget then it's a best choice. If you love to be with in dense tree surrounded by lavish green than its not a right choice but the house is full of plants. Thanks to James and marry.

Well received with tea banana, good parking space for car for pet dog surrounded by greenery tea estate situated close to Kalpetta town accessible to local restaurants. Well knowledgeable host who shared the map direction for sightseeing. Complimentary breakfast of local cuisine with sugar banana is excellent.

Very happy stay felt like another home in Wayanad. Aunty and uncle were so helpful and good people. Very good stay when you go as couple or family. Homely food was no nice and delicious Location wise it's just behind Kalpetta bus stand. Feel like going there again.

I my wife stayed in the Four Seasons Homestay at Kalpetta Wayanad during the last week of July. We stayed for two nights three days at the property and were really impressed by the hospitality extended by the owner Mrs Mary her husband Mr Johnson Both of them guided us how to go around the and visit the tourist places where to get vegetarian food and where to do shopping in Kalpetta. The place was cozy comfortable and value for money Mrs Mary is a very warm lady whose prime focus is make the guest comfortable. One suggestion I would like to make is that a coffee maker should be provided in the home stay.

Waynad is a beautiful place and our stay was made all the more beautiful with homestay in 4 seasons. The place is close to Kalpetta market and bus stand. The lake is also not far special mention for the owners who were very helpful. They guided us for the sightseeing places and also helped us arrange the cab for the day The home was well maintained nice and clean. They also served us breakfast and dinner which was good going to Waynad, you should definitely opt for home stay instead of homestay or resorts and I would recommend Four Seasons for sure specially for families and couples.

Our stay in The Four Seasons Homestay Wayanad was pleasant and make us feel at home. I could not valuate by service and infra. But I felt at elder sisters home even I found luxury home stays and resorts I will not prefer that I will go again to Marry mams Four seasons home stay only I have plan to go again with entire family members. She is not money minded and caring sister. Still I felt I have a sister house in Kalpetta.

Location of the home stay was in the city. The staff at this home stay we helpful and friendly The check in and check out was done on time The appearance of the home stay was neat and clean. There are shopping malls and temples near the home stay it is just walk able distance The room allotted to me was spacious and well maintained with all basic amenities like TV and geyser in working condition but AC was not there. The rooms were cleaned on time. The food served at the home stay was good but on extra charge. It is kind of home stay. The cost was also reasonable and with complimentary breakfast. The destination was good and worthy home stay, it is a recommendable home stay it is a trip with my family.

Very good location though a bit tricky to locate Mary the staff leaves no stone upturned to make you comfortable. Rooms are decent. A tea coffee maker in the rooms can really enhance the appeal. Excellent getaway for people seeking nature and solace. Strongly recommended.

Visited in March it was off season and the place wasn't crowded much more over, there was a strike in Kerala that day. The landlady called us previous day and informed about the situation and offered full refund on cancellation. Arranged lunch at odd times Great hospitality and surrounded by shrubs and plants. Very near to the main road Only setback may be is it doesn't come with a hill view if you are looking for one almost all sides covered with trees and plants n good greenery. Definitely recommended.

Wayanad is one of the beautiful places you can visit when you are looking for a weekend getaway from Bangalore city Nestled between hills filled with tea and coffee plantations. The fresh air that smacks on your face when you a enter Wayand is really a refreshing experience when in Wayanad Four Seasons is the place to stay in this home stay is one of the best. I have experienced Beautiful rooms with balcony filled with plants create a soothing atmosphere for you to relax. The host Mary is just wonderful her hospitality and the food served by them will crack a smile on anyone s face. If you are in the mood to roam around then she will help you to find places to visit and hook you up with transportation if required For a hassle free and relaxed stay in Wayand. I recommend you make your reservation well in advance for Four Seasons Home stay because the rooms get booked really fast.

Homestay in Kerala is really an off beat way of experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the owners of these properties. It is new way of exploring Kerala The amenities of swimming pool and outdoor games cannot be expected in a homestay. It is for people who would like to enjoy a relaxing vacation meet and make new friendly families Here in this place. Mary Abraham and her husband Johnson are such warm and nice loving people who go out of their way to make us feel like their guests. The food is simply excellent especially for non veg eaters Of course they do give tasty traditional Kerala vegetarian delicacies. They gave good tips on the local sightseeing For my family it was like family bonding by the time we left. We do keep in touch with Mary and recommend our friends to go and stay there while in Wayanad.

Location wise it was good. The interior and exterior look of the home stay was very good. Overall service was excellent. The room allotted to me was spacious and cleanly maintained Wash rooms were cleaned hot water was provided. No amenities were provided The food served in the home stay was excellent in quality and taste. Overall I enjoyed the stay.

I wanted a break from routine and Wayanad promised the same with it s greenery and idyllic places. The Home stay Four Seasons was as comfortable and cozy as shown in the pictures had a rich garden around the house serene and comfortable room and balcony. The wood work was a treat to eyes Services were quite good and made us feel at home with Mary Aunty Uncle taking utmost care of us they not only helped us in getting a cab Jeep and a good guide also fed us with authentic Kerala food. The room was clean and prim food was served well on time The hosts were the probably the best part of the trip Mary Aunty guided us well on the itinerary and got us a good and reliable guide cum driver who drove us around Wayanad familiarizing with the place culture food and key sights Advice to travellers is to prioritise the sight seeing based on the interests hills waterfall flora or fauna covering the key places would take around 3 4 days. Trekking enthusiasts must visit the Chemur hill Get some bamboo souvenirs and try authentic food On our next trip. I would definitely carry a good DSLR camera and trek to the Chemur hill also would learn to prepare some authentic Kerala dish from Mary Aunty.

I and my husband went here just to relax for two days. It's a nice place it has good food and clean rooms. There is no privacy so it s not good for honeymoon couple. It's a little dangerous for kids as the stairs is too steep. The staff is very friendly. The rates are decent but be careful with the taxi drivers they charge a bomb.
