I recently stayed at this wonderful homestay in Kalpeta, Wayanad, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Situated right beside a 100-acre cocoa plantation, this homestay offers a serene escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, surrounded by lush greenery and hilly landscapes. The location is excellent—just a short walk from local teashops, bakeries, snack places, dessert spots, and souvenir shops. Our host, Noushad, was exceptional, providing warm hospitality and ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The homestay features a large lawn with hammock swings, outdoor seating, and charming night lights, creating a delightful atmosphere, especially in the rain—it truly felt like being immersed in nature at its finest. The property also offers ample parking space, making it convenient for guests with their own vehicles. The homestay provides basic items such as milk, sugar, and coffee, along with utensils and a gas stove. For additional needs, the Nest Hypermarket, a large hypermarket, is just 3 kilometers away. Guests can enjoy a barbecue experience, as the owners provide all the necessary setup. Although we couldn’t take advantage of the bonfire due to the rain, it would be a wonderful feature on a clear evening. Additionally, you have the option to enjoy a meal prepared by the host or order from the nearby eatery, Taste and Mist, which serves delicious food until late. Overall, this homestay combines an excellent location, great amenities, and top-notch hospitality, making it a perfect choice for anyone visiting Wayanad.

We went as a family of 8, 5 adults and 3 kids. The host was kind enough to accommodate an extra adult just before the arrival. We were received well and had our welcoming drink. The house 'jannah' was stunning with clean bedding, towels, toiletries. The house was surrounded with lovely garden with lots of flower plants. Breakfast was served from day 2 as our check in was after 11 am. We completely enjoyed the breakfast the host confirms what we need for breakfast. Unfortunately when we visited there a district bandh 'strike' against the forest department so we lost a day in the house but nous-had kindly provided us with a amazing lunch and got extra milk for the day as we had kids. There's lot of restaurants around to order for dinner via swiggy or zomato. As our stay was for nearly 5 days we wanted to wash out clothes, host got someone to wash it. The place is located near vythiri so if you ride it drive a lot of places are very close by to enjoy the view points in the early morning. All together it was a lovely few days stay. Had a good time in this lovely homestay. All basic amenities are taken care of. Host has provided a lot of indoor games as well, you can have fun staying at home. We had a one year old with us, and she enjoyed roaming around this property. Only microwave was missing, but stove is provided to heat the food.

Nous-had ji was a warm host and extremely punctual. The breakfast was extremely good and the location is one of the best in wayanad.

- firstly, the villa is surrounded by trees and greenery - villa is clean and sanitized - breakfast offered by the host is also good - good car and bike parking area - overall it's a great experience to stay in this villa with family or friends

A well maintained and clean property which is almost centrally located. Host was readily available for all our queries. They provided delicious authentic kerala breakfast as well. Overall a great experience

Excellent for Family and Newly married couples.... Homestay is absolutely Clean and Very good hygienic rooms....Washrooms are very Clean. Indoor games and Kitchen room is available with Gas stove and refrigerator. wallowing Homes absolutely Fine and good for Homestay.

Hospitality was good. But preparations had some shortcomings. Ro was not functional had to buy water.
