it was not good, they need to focus on more cleaning, most important behaviour, even after I booked from MakeMyTrip where it was mentioned that late check-in and check-out upto 3hr is available, but they were asking extra money when asked for 1 to 2hr of late check-out from usual 11 am check out The stuff is totally not good, was asking tips for everything. and if you don't give, then they show rude behaviour

So i went to checkin at fab hotel kolkata residency and they said no rooms available but i already paid for booking and they accepted. They said yes we know and took me to a hotel 4 streets away by walk around 1.2km and then said this is also ours only kolkata residency and dumped in a bizarre room. The worker is sitting on bed and watching tv and they simply left without even cleaning the bed. He left his slippers like that in the room only and its just room the area next to it the workers are shouting and laughing sitting there no privacy for a couple or a group so i simply walked away. I asked i cant be here and i booked fab one not this and either give room or refund they said something in their language and said no refund u can leave if u want so i booked another hotel at that moment

Worst experience ever. Please don’t book this hotel.

Never ever book this hotel. They will demand extra money, will manipulate the bill. The owner was not present. Instead, there was a man around 45–50 years old and a receptionist. They demanded extra money if you had a visitor, without informing you beforehand. Once you check in, they start charging you for everything. They don’t allow anything from Swiggy zomato. They even manipulated the food bills. My actual bill was ₹340, but they gave me a bill of ₹450. I fought with that old guy to correct the bill. They charged an extra ₹600 just for a single visitor. If visitors are not allowed in guest rooms, they should clearly inform customers at the time of checking. Overall, it was a really really bad experience.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a pleasant experience. Very convenient location in fabhotel New kolkata residency . The room was spacious, clean with necessary amenities. High speed wifi connectivity. The hotel has an in-house kitchen, although I didn't have meals during my stay. The service staff is courteous and efficient. All in all a good experience

Poor Stay

Food is costly and taste is not that good. Location is good. Hygiene is good. Manager is too professional, not friendly. Did not inform us during checkin that we are given premium room when i booked deluxe room. Now when i extended my stay for 2 days, now he is saying it is a premium room you have to shift. Staffs are friendly.

Cleanliness of the property and quality of service was good

The staff were cordial especially manager sanjay dada. He helped me the moment i landed in howrah. The food was ok and little bit higher side. The cleanliness of room was very good.
