It was not good experience with us, no food and no tea and no drinking water properly available. Near to hotel no public transport and restaurants etc available. Monkey also creating problem in this hotel. Toilet and hot water geyser not in good condition.

Worst hotel.

Here is the concern. I am very disappointed by the room booked. Totally wasted my money. I just stayed there for 2 hours and had to leave the room as it was not room to stay. Unhealthy/dirty washroom, stale smell, Geyser not working. I waited for 1 hour after reaching the cottage and no one addressed me and did not pick up the phone. The room was in so much height that it was not easy to go there carrying your luggage. I will rate 0/10.

Very poor. 8 km away from mall road Shimla. Totally jungle area. No transport available from hotel. Very bad experience. If any one wants to climb 8th floor using only stairs every time he/she needs to go outside. Please do not book rooms in this hotel.

Difficult to go to the top floors using steps, better use alternative approach rough Road to reach this place and definitely you will enjoy your vacation, but be sensitive towards usage of water. At this price getting this type of facility is too tough.

The view from the cottage is wonderful. Price is great but as it is far away from mall Road, so price is almost same compared to hotels at mall Road. Caretaker is friendly.

The best home stay

I'll strongly recommend Dolphin cottage to everyone whoever have own vehicle while traveling to Shimla. Location is bit away but easy to locate through Google map. You will find a best front view from the cottage during the day and night time. The food was awesome. I have been in different hotel in past but the food qua l of the Dolphin cottage was the best than others. The care taker boy known as Lalit is very friendly with everyone. I'm sure you will enjoy the location, rooms, food, and a lot of fun. 10/10 for the Dolphin cottage.

The location is very remote .. The staff is cooperating. But the cleanliness isn't that up to the mark. It's not recommended for couples but for bachelors this hotel is very good. Food is good especially the breakfast
