Desert Adventure Camps & Safari

Its Simply Awesome. Some people who give negative comments cannot be satisfied even they go to Hayatt in price of 3star or they want to live on Moon. I was scared when I booked this property as all have written about quality of food. Let me completely describe. 1. We were unable to find the property 1st as all were on main road. But this property main advantage is- Its 500m from main road more deeper on sands where you can enjoy. I called Manager and he simply described the route and it was easier. 2. Before we enter as I called, he already sent 2 guys to pick our luggage from car and Welcomed us by Tilak and Dhol. 3. We were amazed to see property as its simple awesome when you look at the tents and centre of stage to be performed. 4. He welcomed us by Mocktail/Badam juice and our tent was almost ready. 5. Yes in tent bed is good, all charging points was working, Laltain was there and 1 table FAN but at night we don't need to put it ON as it was too cold out there. 6. Amazing thing- 2 bottle water bottles and 1 tea was also there for everyone when we entered and to avoid mosquitoes - All out was also there without we asked anything. 7. Washrooms were clean 8. They already booked for us CAMEL RIDE and THAR SAFARI. THAR SAFARI was chargeable and only cost Rs. 1500 whole jeep where 6 people can sit. We were 4 people, so we contri with 2 more and Manager was all okay. All things were included. 9. 8PM Onwards- Folk Dance + Singing + Stunts by local women + BonFIRE and LIVE DJ was played and unlimited snacks were there - Tea+ Papad+ Veg Pakoda's. And it was so delicious. 10. Dinner includes- 3 SALADS+ Paneer+ Dal Bhaati+ RICE+ All roti's + DAL was there and in breakfast not only bread jam but POHA+ FRUITS+ Poori Bhaji was also there. I mean its sooo impressive. In Rs. 8000- 2 Tents + 2meals + Camel ride and shows - What else you need I am very happy and want to thank you DESERT ADVENTURE CAMP.

Pick and drop from Jaisalmer available at extra cost. Jeep Safari available. Camel safari, cultural programs, dinner and breakfast are complementary. Early check-in allowed as they have lots of rooms and large difference between checkout and check-in time.

Every time we felt that we were being robbed off. They are charging Rs. 50 for a 18 Rs Sprite bottle. For 50 Rs cigarette packet, 200. We stayed there for two days wasting our moneys. Sudasari camp is only 10 km from Khuri. To drop us over there and to collect at evening they have charged rs. 3500/-. We cannot arrange a single camel ride for the second day (as we have already spent Rs. 1500/- for the camel redefining programme and dinner on the first day) as the camel owners are tied up with the hotels. Having very nice experiences at Bikaner, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer, the experience at Khuri village is horrible.

Night folk dance was good. Food and service were also good. Bathroom water was dirty. Camp has arrangements for Jeep Safari on additional payment. They also can guide for other activities in the nearby area.

Tent and facilities are very good, food is good, more variety is required in evening snacks however evening dance and musical program is good. Dessert safari specially jeep and camel ride in dessert is adventures. A very good place for outing with family and friends

Tent was at very good location and nearest to the desert. It was not sam sand dunes but khuri village. It was good but I suggest to stay at sam as it is better than khuri. Breakfast was not so good. But its okay to stay there.

Good experience. Location was nice and tents were good. Evening progam was good. Food was totally vegetarian. Some non-veg items should be included in the food. Evening camel ride was a good experience. People were good and service was excellent. Overall very good experience.

Good staying experience. Rooms were decent and location was also nice. Staff was friendly. The evening programme was good enough. Just one suggestion - all food items were veg .. Please try to include non veg items also if possible

It's once must visit. Awesome people who manages the show. Nice location, camel ride, sunset, dance and all. Good traditional food. Only couldn't sleep because of insects in the room and non AC. People are awesome and very good service and care taken

The owners - brothers Tane Singh Bhati and Pappu Singh make up for all the shortcomings. Paid extra to book a Swiss Tent including Camel Safari and Cultural Dance Program through Make My Trip. On arriving, found that Swiss Tents had not been setup and were given alternate accommodation in a hut, which was just comfortable. Was also charged for Jeep safari and cultural dance program, although we had already paid while booking. Apart from this, the place is really good for a very different experience. The sand dunes are bang opposite the property. They take you on camel or jeep for a short safari and sunset. We were the only Indians in about 100 people watching the cultural dance program in the evening - rest were all foreigners. Food was OK - they made aloo paranthas on request for breakfast. Cleanliness levels are also just OK. They also arrange cots and bedding outside in the sand dunes for the night for the adventurous those who want to sleep under the open sky. If looking for a village experience that is different then luxury hotels - this place is highly recommended.

We booked a deluxe room and it came with a desert cooler which we were very grateful for in the heat of July. The camel Safari was really nice .. The desert is beautiful. The cultural night was also great and they tried to involve everyone present. Overall an awesome experience!

It was a awesome place, delicious food and the dance was too good and camel ride are also good it was such a beautiful place. There staff are very helping. The hotel was very clean .. Overall these desert ride is good

Desert adventure camp is a very beautiful place to stay with family, lots of good facilities. Nice hospitality food taste and quality is awesome. We stayed in Swiss tent that really was a beautiful experience.

I really like this hotel because of his atmosphere adventures desert camel safari jeep riding all are very awesome especially room like a royal and bed are very clean. I must say whenever I travel Jaisalmer then I will stay here thank you Jaisalmer.

The hotel is located close to dunes and offers a beautiful view of them. The host was warm and friendly. We were served tea at arrival and then taken for a camel ride. The owner of the camel was a very friendly person who let us take as much time as we needed, without hurrying us or charging us extra for the long wait. The cultural programme was good, though a little catering to the popular culture. However, when we requested for original folk, we were in for a wonderful surprise. The food lacked a little choice but nonetheless was fine. Overall a fine place to spend a lovely evening and night.

This resort is set in a remote village bordering a patch of desert about 40Kms from Jaisalmer. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with tea and then went to desert camel safari for sunset view. After having a great time exploring the desert, we came back to the camp for a song and dance performance by the villagers. We were served beers and a sumptuous Rajasthani dinner. Later we opted to sleep in the desert under the beautiful sky full of stars. Overall, this place is worth it only if you are booking a package consisting of the camel safari and food (dinner and breakfast) for less than Rs. 2, 000. Tip: You will be charged extra for the drinks which they don't mention clearly.

We were greeted by folk dancing and music as soon as we entered. A great way to spend your night in the middle of the thar desert under the stars and moonlight. We were awaken by the camel brothers of babloo and babli whose backs we rode in for 2 km to watch the sun rise. Unique experience.

Hygiene was not up to the excellency mark as there were little nooks present. Accommodation can be made more sophisticated. Food was little up to the mark as it was nice enjoying the candle light dinner and had a lot more enjoyable night under the blue black skies.
