Poor Stay

Sir/Madam I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the cottage accommodation I booked at Missouri (CLARENCE COTTAGE ), located at MISSOURI Uthrakand. Upon booking, I was not informed that the cottage is situated on the 3rd floor of a building without a functioning lift. Furthermore, I was also not made aware of the lack of a proper exit or alternative arrangements for emergency situations. So we informed the manager regarding refund. Instead of chekinto the cottage we immediately search another place which is highly hygienic and economical. This lack of transparency and misleading information has caused me and my family significant inconvenience and distress, especially the transportation inconvenience. I request that you take immediate action to: 1. Ensure accurate representation of the cottage's location and amenities on your website and other promotional materials. 2. Provide alternative accommodations that meet the standards or offer a refund for the inconvenience caused. I tried to reach the authorised person in make my trip but after keep on waiting there was no positive reply. I appreciate a prompt response regarding the actions you will take to address this issue. Excellent valley views, Beautiful room decor, Damp smell in washroom, Cottage doesn't provide food, but mall road nearby gives many delicious food options..Entrance to the cottage is bit creepy..But the terrace rooms are just gorgeous with a spacious balcony..

We value every guest’s experience and would like to clarify a few points: • Parking: Parking was provided near our property, and if it wasn’t available, we would have arranged free paid parking, especially considering your late check-in at 11:45 PM. • Food & Water: As a licensed homestay, we take food orders until 10 PM. Since you checked in late, kitchen services were closed. Additionally, we did not receive any breakfast order from you. Drinking water is always available through our Aqua Guard water dispenser, and upon your request in the morning, we also provided Bisleri bottled water. • Bathroom Cleanliness: Our bathrooms are well-maintained and cleaned daily. To ensure hygiene and freshness, we use Naphthalene balls in all drains. • Communication: We also tried reaching out to you directly via message to address any concerns, but unfortunately, we did not receive a response. • Guest Experience: We take great pride in offering a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all our guests. Your feedback is important to us, and we kindly request you to reconsider your review, as it impacts our business and the efforts we put into ensuring a comfortable stay. Our location on a hill means a bit of walking is expected, and we're right in the heart of the action on the Mall Road. We've invested in top-notch kitchen equipment and ensured fast, reliable internet, so it's disheartening to hear you weren't satisfied with these aspects. Mr. Shambu went out of his way to prepare meals that resonated with your background, and while we usually don't offer complimentary breakfast as we are a Homestay , we were happy to accommodate your request for a small fee on daily basis. If we fell short of your expectations in any way, we sincerely apologize and are determined to address any shortcomings to ensure your next stay exceeds your expectations.
