AURORA LIGHT RESIDENCY

This is not a hotel but this home stay only and the location is huge inside from Coonoor road, we booked for 2 nights but this is not a good experience at property. so please do not waste money on this property

Location and ambiance of hotel is good.

The property is located in a crowded area and not as shown in pictures.. Also, the view is not that good.. Keeping this aside.. The person who handles reception in the evening is terrible and has no sense how to speak with customers.. He was not ready to deliver tea either initially.. you will not get drinking water in the room.. Also, food orders are not taken after 9 pm.. And, if we order at 10pm from swiggy that receptionist starts arguments.. saying that it's not a 24 hour hotel.. And he is absolutely not cooperative.. And, he was drunk in the evening.. if you want a peaceful and enjoyable stay then this place is not meant to be the same.. Wifi is not good.. single wifi for the whole property.. Please think before book this property

Nice rooms . Clean and comfortable. Had every main amenities. Easy to locate

1.No parking facilities 2.Small room no proper Facilities 3.No proper Entrance or sign boards to find the place 4 Over and high charges for the room 5 Lack of proper guidance facilities from the staff It was totally a terrible experience

The property was good, and cleanly maintained. Food was also good and delivery time could have been faster. Overall a good experience.

Overall good experience but cupboard makes too much noise. Staff is helpful.

Overpriced hotel. No lift. Stairs for 3rd floor. Interior location. Don’t recommend for family or couples. 2 stars just for helpful stuff. Overpriced. Interior location. Not recommended for family and couples. Narrow lane road. No lift. Steep steps on staircase.

Room size was too small Food was not included in the package We had to search the hotel for a long time and thus had to bear 200 rupees extra for the same

we had great stay in the hotel. the staff is supportive. Rooms are cleanly maintained and good hotel to stay with family. However, they don't seem to have power back up for the hotel. There is limited parking space for the hotel, location seems to be little interior. overall had good experience omin the hotel

The location was good, Staff is very helpful and polite. only drawback is they dont have restaurant or food facility available in the hotel. overall experience was nice. The view from the resort was amazing and the host was gracious. They happily accommodated all over our requirements provided an area for us to be able to enjoy group activities together as we were a huge group. Overall it was a fun stay.

Aurora Light Residency should be classified as a Homestay experience rather than a resort, because it's a small, standalone property. MMT must recategorize it as such. Aurora Light Residency is a cosy hill view property with very homely and earthen vibes. The rooms and washrooms were clean and hygienic, and the staff in particular was very helpful and courteous. They even helped us to get a local cab at an affordable price in this peak tourist season. There was constant running hot water in the washroom ,a must in the cold environs of Ooty. Now coming to the drawbacks, for one, due to hill area restrictions, the property does not have an elevator. There is little parking area available, it being situated in a residential area. The biggest drawback was there is NO RESTAURANT in the property, and all food ordered is delivered by a separate hotel situated 3 kms away. So delivery schedules are a challenge, it took us almost an hour to get dinner! Then there were small nagging issues, the phone intercom was dead, the bathroom mirror was missing and there is no staff on call post 9pm, once they close the main gates to the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, primarily because of Ooty's charm, staff behavior and the homely vibes at the property. However, it does not qualify as a resort by any measure. Recommended for couples and families with young kids only because it's away from the main downtown area of Ooty, which may not appeal to the youngsters.

overall good experience. But could have been better. Fridge was not working. Charging points were not functional. There was no hot kettle in room and no toileries.

The room is clean and good. The only concern I have is, it's not worth it for 3k rent per day. The max amount should be 2.5k.

Scenery boutique Hotel, peace and beautiful sunrise and sunset. i loved staying with my kids. Very big dining area at the top.

Facilities were good

There was no dental kit available, the room was not cleaned after one day and even there was no request for cleaning also. Rest room there is no exhaust fan, after every usage there was a smell. One Window blind rope was not there to operate.
