It could be made better there were no clear signs or hoarding of the stay, the location from google maps take us to a road which is not accessible for cars, many of the food items were not available even as basic as burgers, cold drinks and even lime soda, the entry of the hotel one is 150 steps which is not possible for a lot of people, the other entry is easier but is a slippery down hill so again people could find that difficult and the way to the rooms could’ve been decorated with flowers and some decorations in short could’ve been better maintained the property, the rooms are nice on the other hand

Good location

Such a bad experience, wanted to have a good weekend but it got ruined. The access to this property is so bad and despite asking the host multiple times before booking about the access since i was with my family and had a elderly member too, he said all to get the booking and after that he didn’t care. The access is such a downhill with the max they provided my grandmother was a bike, when asked for refund they said no, the host is so bad he stopped picking my calls. Overall if you want to have a good time in Dalhousie, please don’t book this place., hope this review helps other :)

It was a very bad experience, nothing was as shown in the photos, the hotel is very high up and one has to walk 100 meters just to reach the hotel and there is no parking here

The property is located amidst natural forest but the only issue is there’s no parking place. One needs to park on the road or under constructed path and then take steep stairs to reach it . Not recommended for people with disabled locomotive abilities

I booked Alt Life Luxe – Dalhousie – Hill Top Heritage trusting the photos and description shown. However, upon reaching, I was shocked to find the entrance involved climbing over 100 steep steps, which is completely inaccessible for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, or anyone with knee issues. The listing photos of the facade and entrance are completely misleading – they do not show the massive staircase or lack of ramps. Accessibility information was nowhere visible during booking. As a person with a 60% disability and wearing an artificial limb, I was forced to leave the hotel without checking in, ruining my trip and incurring financial loss. This is a serious violation of the spirit of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and Accessible Tourism Guidelines by the Ministry of Tourism. take accountability and clearly mark accessible/inaccessible properties so users can make informed choices. Platforms cannot treat accessibility as an afterthought.

The property is amazing. The staff is very friendly. The property is located at a distance where there is no connectivity to road. We have to reach the property via stairs. That is one drawback otherwise the food, rooms, staff.. evrything was perfect

Food quality was very poor…even the food service was very very slow. The hotel was not the same as shown in the pictures. Water supply was not there in the room for hours. The hotel was not easily accessible as it took lot of efforts to reach the hotel through stairs. Price doesnot match the ammenties provided there. There was no cubboard in the room. Not good for family visit.

All was awsome services are good. Staff was nice place was so neat and clean.

nice and quiet location away from the hustle of the city and traffic. rooms was cosy comfortable with a beautiful mountain view, hotel staff was prompt with their service and the food was also delicious. seemed like perfect place to unwind.

wonderful rustic and heritage property with stunning views. The highlight was definitely the bonfire area.

Everything was great except one biggest catch which is not shared anywhere before I make a booking. - the car does not go till the entrance of the property. Either you need to take 100 stairs or a walk on a steep slope and then some stairs where there are monkeys to reach the property. I was travelling with family - a heart patient included who could not walk this much in the night. They do help in taking your luggage up and down but it can get unsafe and deserted to come back to the property in night. And this in not kids and 40+ friendly at all. This should be called out on every website - anyone who is seeking an adventure daily should take this place

The property has no access, no cars can go there. I was traveling with a group of 9 people including 2 pregnant women and they asked us to climb 150 plus stairs upwards to reach, so we didn’t even reached there and after that they refused to cancel the property and asked us to contact makemy trip and now we’re waiting for refund. Hopefully Make my trip cooperate with us and help us to resolve this issue.
