Hotel MGM 1 I Mall Road

Location ai easily approachable,food is good,amenities are bad , services is ok , tap is running in bathroom

Booked this hotel for my short trip to Dalhousie & my decision to book the same was right. Room was neat & clean with all the amenities. Location was in centre, very close to Mall Road. View from the hotel was scenic. Staff was friendly & helpful.all together a great stay.would recommend to everyone...

It was a pleasant stay at hotel mgm with good ambiance and generous hospitality by staff. Overall an excellent memorable stay

1. On the time of checking, the tables in the room were full of dust. 2. The dish recharge of the set top box of our room expired multiple times, the room service changed the box several time during our three days stay. 3. The manager of the hotel used the spoon to eat the fennel from the bowl, he placed the used spoon inside the bowl. We noticed and reported to the waiters in the restaurant. Next day the manager did the same, we again protested to the waiters there. 4. The hotel has no lift. 5. The hotel had no bar. 6. The hotel is very close to gandhi chownk. 7. The hotel has ample parking space.

Value for money but old property location good but no buffet theysurve breakfast in rooms and linens in room are not as per my expectation

Very good location of hotel mgm 1. It is very close to Gandhi chowk. Very good rooms. Where we were staying. Overall service from the hotel was also fantastic. Rooms and washroom were neat and clean. Restaurant environment Was very calm and and relaxing environment. Food was very delicious. Staff was very humble, polite and well behaved housekeeping service is very quick and very satisfactory . Worst hotel to stay. Rooms and amenities are not worth. We had planned stay from 12th checkin and 14th checkout. However, we checked out the property on the13th due to extremely dismal food quality and high security concerns. When we reached the property, there was no guard at the entrance. It was raining outside and we were with infants, so, our cab driver went to ask someone to pick up the luggage and bring an umbrella, but it did not work out as they had a total 3 staff and an umbrella was not available with them. Our cab driver helped us transfer the luggage and lend his umbrella. Further, they allocated us a deluxe room instead of super deluxe in line with our booking which had seepage all over and was very dirty. Later on, the room was changed after the hell lot of arguments. They did not even bother to ask for ids to confirm the guests identity which made us sceptical about the other guests. We enquired about occupancy in other rooms as lights in the restaurant were off and we were with babies so concerned about security. They lied to us that 10 more guests were there. However, no other person was present. Food served was stale which caused a severe stomachache to us. After the daunting experience, we decided not to continue staying at the hotel and discussed the same at the hotel reception citing all the reasons, but, they were rude and out-rightly rejected to settle any amount for non-checked in one night. If you are reading for honest review, then do not proceed for booking. Other hotels are way way better.
