STAY WAS REALLY GREAT, ROOM VIEW IS EXCELLENT AS EXACTLY IN FRONT OF HAPPY VALLEY TEA GARDEN ROOM SERVICE IS GOOD

1. room was at top floor... not adequate lighting on way to room.. 2. wash room area was not cleaned... lot of old stuffs were kept in front of wash room... like a store room... and it was quite frightening.. 3. restaurent service is not good.. 4. however location was good... infront of happy valley tea Garden... 5. staffs were ok..

No Basic amenities were provided , room equipment’s like TV and even switch boards were not working properly, Wi-Fi was not working, Smelly rooms, bathroom is also not very clean, no shower, surrounding area was untidy. All in all , the property is huge , but can be managed better.

No lifts , No water supply at mornings,kitchen services are like what they have not aacording to menu and have restricted time , room services are terrible they didn’t respond. Complimentary breakfast is very poor quality.

Best experience ever. Very hospitable, extremely neat rooms, helpful service. Yangchun, the receptionist was extremely nice towards us and we really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone visiting Darjeeling

Overall my experience was good staying at alaya, the staff was so helpful, but they did not provide me with the room which i chose while i was booking, so that was annoying, they showed me different photos of the room with balcony but provided me another room which has no balcony

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days, and it was a very disappointing experience. The cleanliness was absolutely poor, and the room was not properly maintained. Basic necessities were also missing—there was no water provided for an entire day, which is completely unacceptable. The photos shown are misleading and do not reflect the actual state of the property. The hotel is located far from Mall Road, and the location itself is not ideal. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

First day there was no water in hotel and second day water blocked in bathroom. I won't stay in this hotel in future

Less attendent at room, no proper communication with the resort, faced electricity outage too. Had to call for room cleaning. In short, terrible stay at the resort. Only one positive is that this is at a scenic place so you will have a good view of tea gardens and nearby hills.

1- we reached at darjiling 4. 00 pm and the room was not ready and we waited for 30 min. And when we entered into the room, they were still cleaning the room. 2- no tap water in bathing taps and toilet flush was not working than they asked us to call plumber we don't allow and changed to a average room 3- the hotel location is terrible on the road. The hotel is not having any parking facilities, and we paid an extra 400 rs. For parking from our pocket far distance from hotel 4- no welcome. Drinks and no tea they offered at arrival 5- towels were dirty 6- service was very poor even when morning 9. 00 am we asked for the tea they told that kitchen is not ready and no cook available than we took our car and went outside to have a cup of tea 7- in room no phone to call at reception or room service than i took manager mobile no. 7- restaurant was not operation and paint work going on. 9- they have nothing to do with customer service and running hotel like a dirty and poor home stay. Finally we cheated and faced very bad experience of this our stay.

The location is not convenient, it's about 1. 5 km away from the mall or c hawk bazar. There is no regular fooding arrangements in the property. Whenever arranged, it's too costly. Further no food joints are available in the nearby vicinity. You might have to go without food if you land at the property at odd hours. However, the rooms are good and staff service is also good. Avoid booking rooms on third floor, as you would need to climb tiring nos of staircases.

The location is good, but the service is very poor. No one picks up the call at the reception or room service. Rooms are not cleaned, dustbins are not cleared the lights were not working, the wardrobe smelly no security system, felt very unsafe.

Nice place to stay in Darjeeling and the location is also good to cover for site seen. Tea garden view is clearly visible from room.
