it was a cozy room with an attached washroom , balcony and valley view. but the balcony was shared with others on the same floor. cafe was a few steps below and breakfast started at 8am. for dog parents it's an ideal place to stay in. they prepared customized meals for my dog as per his requirement.

Nice stay, food was good. Finding the place is not easy, better to take current location before coming. Very clean room and you will get all amenities here.

My stay at Unmad Dharamkot was truly delightful. While there was some initial confusion but Aparna quickly stepped in with her warm hospitality and resolved everything seamlessly. She tirelessly took care of everything day and night ensuring every detail was perfect. The serene mountain views, peaceful atmosphere, cozy evenings by the bonfire and delicious comforting food made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing mountain getaway.

The location is great to take a rest. I had a great stay and got very warm&kind sevice after tracking. I hope i would stay longer and enjoy mcleod ganj life near future.

The property is very nicely built in a serene location and at a 10 mins walking distance from dharamkot market. The food is good and the views are mesmerizing. They have all the amenities in the room like a hair dryer, kettle and a heating pad which was awesome. Mr kishan is a generous and helpful host. He was proactive in making things easier and comfortable for us and he helped us shift rooms after checking in as well. The only thing that could have been better was the room and the washroom, which lacked maintenance and was above average.

Pleasant stay. We were only there for a short while overnight but the room is clean and hot water available. Location is also very convenient for golden temple & jallianwala baug( just a 2 min walk. Love and anuj at reception were very attentive and always ready to help. The owner also called us to check when we were arriving as our bus was late. All in all, a decent place. 5

The rooms were clean and comfortable, i highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. We would love to stay there again. Aparna was very kind and accommodated all our requests as much as possible. The staff is good and very courteous. Food was absolutely homemade and delicious. Excellent property and pet friendly. One who has pets will definitely enjoy as they have some extra sweet and friendly companies for your pet. And oreo is the one who stole my heart.

Amazing stay at the unmad, i liked it so much i ended up prolonging it. Great room, clean, very sweet and friendly staff and perfect place to relax and go on hikes while enjoying the peace of the mountains.

It's a very nice place gives vibe of bier in macloed it's away from all busy rush. It's near tushita. Aparna is a great host. Small little things are also taken care of in room. Take auto from mcloed don't go to bhagsu. But yes just one thing you have to climb many big steps to get to your room.

The unmade is an ideal place to stay if you wish to get away from city crowds and noise. It is a cosy, beautiful, and friendly place, run by aparna, krishan, dhananjay, and their multiple adorable dogs. Aparna took very good care of us. My wife had a stomach upset when we arrived and she got special comfort food made for us. She is also very well versed with the surroundings and suggested us several trails we would not have found otherwise. We really enjoyed sitting and chatting with her in the evenings. The room was very comfortable and they provided us extra blankets on request. There is plenty of hot water and the room comes with heater, electric kettle, and a small heating pad. There are gorgeous views from the balcony. Wifi worked without a hitch. The cafe is also very nice, better than many other locations we tried. I would specifically recommend their thukpa, grilled chicken, cheese omelette, and pancakes. The dogs are the best things about this space. They are super adorable and all personalities. We miss hindi with her sad looks, pawing us for pets, joey and ore o and their play fights, and taffy and lo lying around enjoying the winter sun. Do come here if you want peace, beautiful views, friendly and caring hosts, and solitude. If you require five-star amenities, and restaurants and cafes at a stones throw, you may want to stay lower down. There are stairs to be climbed, so people who are older or have a knee problem may find it somewhat challenging. The hosts are also clear that it is not a party spot. We rate it more than full marks, and were sad to leave. We really look forward to our next stay here.

Very helpful staff and friendly owner. The cafe outside is well maintained and very cosy. There's also heater inside the cafe and fireplace outside.
