I recently stayed at solo simran arcade primarily because of its proximity to the ielts idp center in kochi, which is about 1 km away. Though it’s walkable, i chose to take an uber, but that’s a personal preference. The property itself is well-maintained, with rooms that are in good condition. However, the bed and mattress quality could be improved, as i could feel the bed's supporting structure, which was a bit uncomfortable. Despite this, the staff, particularly a young, friendly manager who's a recent Solo Simran Arcade |Rooms in a Homestay management graduate, made the stay pleasant. One aspect to note is that food delivery isn't available directly to your room. You'll have to go downstairs to collect your order. It's a minor inconvenience but something to be aware of. On a positive note, they were accommodating with visitors; my friend was allowed to briefly visit after showing his id, which was reassuring. The amenities, like the air conditioning, were reliable and uninterrupted, a welcome feature that isn't always a given in other Solo Simran Arcade |Rooms in a Homestays. The bathroom facilities were decent, with hot water available, and basic toiletries like soap and towels were provided, along with a complimentary bottle of water. One of the highlights for me was the location. It's set away from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a quiet and peaceful environment, which i really appreciated. Overall, while there are areas for improvement, particularly with the bedding, my stay was comfortable, and the quiet location was a major plus.

They ensured I felt welcome and taken care of at all times. From the smooth check-in to their quick response to requests, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine hospitality. The location was convenient, and the overall vibe of the homestay was peaceful and homely. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and well-managed stay in Cochin. Will surely come back again! 👍❤️
