Shiv Tara Desert Camp

This hotel is not good at all. The bathroom was very dirty — the commode seat was broken, and the washbasin tap was damaged with no water coming out. The breakfast was stale. And the worst part — the behavior of the staff was very rude. When the customer arrives, they behave nicely, but at the time of billing or checkout, their behavior completely changes. Choosing this hotel was my worst decision ever.

Below average experience. We booked AC rooms but ended up getting non AC tents/huts, which the property manager claimed was a “generic description” for all tents — very misleading. The tents/huts were poorly maintained. We even got electric shocks from the heater — not just in one tent, but in two! That’s a serious safety issue. There were also lots of ants and spiders under the bed, which made the stay uncomfortable. The music system didn’t work properly, and even when it did, the sound quality was terrible, adding to the frustration. Overall, not worth the money.

rooms are average without ac hut, need proper pest control services and mosquito repellent, celling fan rather than the table fan. manager was very cooperative on your arrival.

Stay is comfortable. Food is good. Tent not looking very beautiful & water bottle is given only two for four person.

Worst stay ever in this range of price of hotel. Room smell bad, toilet blockage and more, no proper water supply

The tent was dirty, had dirty and torn linen. The washroom was filthy. The geyser didn’t work and request to repair it also didn’t happen. The food was in adequate and was not good too. Our request to seal the windows in order to prevent direct chilli air inside the tent was also not done. All in all, it looked like an overpriced lodge to us.

Poor facility, poor tent, old and dirty tents. Food quality is poor. In the name of evening snacks, dinner and breakfast they had only limited items. Pathetic stay we had on 30th dc 2024.

It was a neat, clean and spacious hut, the bathroom size was big enough. Food was served for dinner and breakfast was good. Snacks at the time of a cultural program could be better. Service was excellent, they were polite and cooperative. The jeep safari was not included in the package so we had to pay extra charges for it, it should be included in the package.
