Except for beach side location, everything was substandard. No sea view from room either, view is from restaurant only. The food was tasty, Restaurant furniture is in pathetic rusted condition. Same in room too.. taps rusted.. Room service crockeries r so dirty. The blanket was torn. Recliner sofas din't work. Cudnt open the jammed balcony doors Overall disappointing experience.

worst experience that can happen to any family.... we planned for two days and then reduced it to one day . the bed sheet was having stains , the lizards were around ... dust bin with stains , sofa in tv area broken ....one door was broken ... just felt miserable booking the stay at sea view villa Worst / terrible

pros : easy to find , The place was clean , neat . staff are extremely well behaved. 11 on 10 for their behaviour , politeness and kindness. We are vegetarian and Vegetarian food was excellent ,good on the tongue and tummy , so I assume it was hygienic . they are pro active if we say something is not right or not working and fix it right away . most balconies have sea view which is awesome ! beach is super accessible and surf and turf is near , they have discount for PPL who want to try surfing . lovely sight at night from the balcony ! superb view as you sit and eat on the terrace of the restaurant. food was good . cons the place needs a bit of upkeep , may be they can do some anti rust coating on tables placed in the terrace of restaurant . they can place nets or something so the chairs can be much cleaner without the annoyance of bird poo. also PPL who eat at the restaurant need to have some civic sense not to leave left overs at the table . owners can't help that. Swimming pool is small , needs some strict monitoring since PPL cannot go to beach and come to swimming pool and dirty it. frequent power cuts and rooms needed monitoring of while switching from raw power to genrator since we spent time without fan or ac for sometime before the generator kicked in over all i think for the price they can do some up keep they will have better crowd coming in

Service very poor and rooms AC not working and after flight with them changed another and which also not having proper door locks

maintenance can be improved, average food taste and food variety, room service can be done regularly.

not even clean all the staffs are good but it is not even clean not beach or pool or room or bathroom

I recently stayed at this resort and overall had a decent experience. The staff were courteous and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. The food was quite good, with a fair variety and decent quality that met expectations. However, one major area for improvement is cleanliness and maintenance. The bathrooms and pool were not well maintained, which took away from the overall comfort of the stay. With better attention to hygiene and upkeep in these areas, this resort could offer a much more enjoyable experience.

Resort was neat and calm atmosphere.They treat us friendly.This is worth for spend time with family

Hassle free booking and payment. It was such a wonderful experience at the hotel also. Good stay and the kids enjoyed it thoroughly. We had a peaceful stay and overall great experience thro makemytrip. Kudos team !

Sea la vie resort is right on the sea front and as such an attractive location. The resort is a group of 32 small villas. This makes the guests feel as if they are staying in their own homes. The food served is of top quality. The negatives are: the swimming pool is very small and the beach front is full of trash. The resort is not very friendly for elderly people, the restuarant is on the 2nd floor and the lift does not work. The maintenance of the place needs to improve.

Food is awful unpleasant, resort villa all indoors facilities rusted old, tap had sharp edges potentially dangerous to cut finger, waste recycling placed nearby cooking restaurant smells like highly unpleasant, ac air conditioning not available in ground floor is inconvenient

Nice and safe place. Many positives- villa stay gives you a stay at home feel and privacy. Indoor games will interest adults and children alike- we enjoyed table tennis, snooker, chess and carrom. There is an in-house restaurant with all dishes at nominal cost, but timings might be a drawback. The place itself has basic maintenance but neatly maintained. Beach is less than 100 metre from the resort and open till 10 pm. And the main kovalainen beach is nearby and the place is active all night. You can enjoy surfing and kayaking nearby. Beach is so neat here. Swimming pool is so small and not of much use. But the resort compensates with an excellent beach experience. One suggestion- the resort could provide provision for hanging wet clothes to help maintain the resort clean. The main kovalam bus stand is about 1 km. And there are plenty of restaurants for varied food experience

It's very good. Property's back gate is just next to waves. You could hear the sound of waves round the clock. Location is peaceful. It's good but if they maintain it well it would be amazing property to stay.

Property location is excellent. All the staffs are good and so helpful. Food is excellent and dining staffs are friendly. Only major issue si maintenance of the studio rooms. The rooms are not well maintained, cleanliness should be maintained.

Floor was very sticky because of the salt content. Food was horrible, could not give it to my kids. I got stomach upset eating there.
