Sai RESIDENCY

Very rude staff behavior, they only speak tamil. On checking in found dusty floor with ants on the floor and bed. Bedsheets, towels and pillow covers were stained and torn. Looked dirty. They refused to change and on requesting many times changed only one bedsheet and couple of pillows and said won't change the other bedsheet of my mom's bed. Just for 1 hour early check in, we were charged 600rs, that too without any receipt. The guy mentioned some madam will come to give receipt. We didn't see any madam while staying for 3 days. Also they said laundry person will bring clean bedsheets and towels, but we haven't got any. No room service has been provided, but was promised while booking. The only good thing is the location, ac was working and comparatively cleaner washroom. I wouldn't recommend anyone. As language, hygiene, cleanliness, services, behaviour wise nothing was good. Greatly disappointed.

Decent experience at the hostel parking was provided and they provided South Indian breakfast and the staff was fine

Nice one for single and group also, reasonable fare and excellent location for shopping and walkable distance for beach

this stay was very terrific and unfortunate. Sai residency shifted us to other property peenix and i have been charged for free breakfast at the time of booking it was not served.

Room was clean and stay was good. Prime location near to beach is an absolute plus. We faced only two problems - breakfast was south indian plate which was served cold and same every day without any tea or coffee. Language barrier, receptionist was not knowing english or hindi so it was very hard to communicate for anything.

We stayed for 3 days. Couple traveller room - good location - good no issues found during our stay room services are available

Decent staff and clean rooms. Perfect for one or two day trips. Very close to the beach as well. Lots of restaurants nearby

Easy to find, near the market area, walkable distance from rock beach. Too many options for breakfast lunch and dinner near the location.

Sai residency. Pondicherry. It was a nice stay. Clean rooms and beds. Decent rest room. Towels and bed sheets were good. Tv and ac were good. Nearby to beach, around 800 metres walk to beach. Also have many restaurants, brunches in and around it. The receptionist was very beautiful. One concern is, they don't have parking. They can try to do something for this.

The room was nightmare for a family. Its very filthy. The bathroom was dirty and the bed spread was worn off. The pillowcases and bed were stained. None of them were washed properly. Also the roof had holes on top.

Room maintenance clean, but no drinking water (hot and normal) facility in this residence and committed the morning breakfast while booking the room through make my trip but not provided.

It was good to stay here walkable distance beach with beautiful view of temple and beach and staff is also polite and helpful.

Good near to shopping area, nice place for family stay

Hotel sai residency is a newish property bang in the middle of white town. The best part is the location. It is walkable to many attractions. The room is decent, the hospitality was fine. They were accommodating of some requests. It helps to know tamil as not all are conversant in english. Still they tried their best. Would suggest to not opt for breakfast and instead eat from the multiple joints from all around the hotel. Wishing the owner the best.

Their staff stole our money few hours before checkout while we were out for sunrise view. That was the only time i left my wallet in room. Just before leaving i cross checked my wallet and was taken aback on not finding any cash left in it. When we complained about it at reception and demanded for cctv footage they were highly uncooperative and casual about it. They kept on wasting our time as they were completely aware about my time crunch. All of a sudden they forgot their admin password for accessing cctv footage. They shamelessly mocked me and my friend as if we are creating some random stories. Shockingly our booking also stopped showing on our mm t app and we felt completely trapped and helpless. Somehow mm t gave us the access and we are able to create awareness among folks visiting pondicherry. I had a few dollars in my purse along with around 2k cash. All got stolen. Please refrain from booking this stay for your and your loved ones saftey. Ps:there is something fishy about rating 4 on mm t app for this place. Even the food served was cold and not upto the mark.

Stay location is very accessible to everything, decent stay and staff were helpful

Wonderful stay experience, at first we thought the rooms are closed kind of no window, no outside view but this is a very small con, the location of the hotel is wonderful, everything is nearby and the service is good. Priya and babu were good in service.
