Biggest issue is that the property allows accommodate maximum 9people but it has only two washrooms. Also tea/coffee was denied, reason cited was prior booking was needed even for basic things such as tea/ coffee. Even though it was clearly mentioned on the property listing page (saffron stays).

I was quite surprised and happy to find the way to Stargrazer property by Saffron Stay quite scenic. The lake is beautiful and the villages around are quite clean and quiet. Upon reaching the property, we were greeted by a chilled glass of Kokum Sharbat by Bala. The property was better than what I had imagined it to be, the property faces the hill and overlooks a part of the lake. After settling down quickly we had to rush to Salt Karjat for lunch since we had made prior reservations. After returning from lunch around 5:15 pm we realised that right next to our property Saffron Stay had another property which looks huge and easily accommodate 20 people. There was blaring music, games, dance and announcements happening. We decided to take Power Nap but the music was still loud and people were going crazy. I thought maybe it’s someone’s birthday and after a point they will stop the noise. It was around 7pm when suddenly the noise got worse, they had a proper DJ set up in open with loud announcements and at that point I realised it was a corporate event. Around 9:30 I tried to get in touch with the operation manager Dinesh but he was of no help and told me he would make it stop. I asked him for compensation which he outrightly refused and told me such things are normal for weekends. He was a total disappointment and the music went on till 11:30 pm. Post that the party was moved indoors where the music went on till 3 am. So, I feel cheated by Saffron Stays for making me believe that I would have a wonderful time with my family and get a peaceful weekend. My weekend was ruined by Saffron Stays and I paid for it. The property, good and caretakers were good but otherwise I had a terrible night. I had gone with my family thinking I could soak in some nature, fresh air and quiet but it was totally opposite. I still want to be compensated but there is no response from Saffron Stay. I would recommend families and solo travellers or friends not to book this place.

Excellent location. Food was excellent. Service was also excellent. Good place for a joint family or a group of friends.

Cons= stay- all locks are broken in d house location- too far from main road food- too expensive 825 per person for set menu with no starters amenities- only swimming pool nothing else service - its best but no privacy at all any one can come n go in d house (encountered with 5 different ppl) pros= clean property with nice view

Monsoon is a perfect time to visit this villa surrounded by beautiful mountains. Property is well maintained. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. Overall we had a good experience )

Let me first start with the location, excellent location, and good views from the property. Food is very delicious. Now, coming to the property, it is really good, well maintained property and clean rooms. But the biggest issue with the property that it has only two wash rooms when they have 3 bedrooms also it if 2 wash rooms one wash room is common wash room. Which means 2 bedrooms d9ea not have a washroom which is really a big problem when u have group of 8-10 pax. Secondly, they do not have any games or activities on the location. They do not even have a music system, neither they have ball for pool. No indoor games, not outdoor games. If this is the vacation property or picnic spot, these are the basic requirements.

Property is good and nicely maintained. View from the property is awesome as it is surrounded by mountains and dam. Cook and staff are very cooperative and taste is also good.

My stay at saffron-stays stargazer in karjat was exceptional in every aspect. The culinary experience was outstanding, with a variety of delicious dishes crafted by chefs. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this villa with an incredibly warm and friendly staff. From the moment i walked in, their welcoming smiles made me feel right at home. However, it was the amazing cook who truly stole the show. With every dish that emerged from the kitchen, my taste buds were taken on a delightful journey of flavors and textures. The culinary skills of the cook were evident in every bite, leaving me craving more. The combination of the friendly staff and the chef's exceptional talent created an unforgettable dining experience that i will cherish. Overall, the ambience of the villa further enhanced the overall experience.

We had booked Saffronstays “Stargazer” property in Karjat from 19th to 21st May 2023 for a family of 8 (including 2 senior citizens, 1 child & 1 infant. We reached the property at around 1:30 pm on 19 May 2023 and there was no electricity at that point. Hence the electrics were working on the generator. When we inquired as to why why the AC’s weren’t cooling, they said that it's working on generator. We then proceeded for lunch. However even after 2 hours of checking in, none of the AC’s were cooling. There were 2 in the big hall and one each in the 3 bedrooms. None of them were managing to make the rooms cool down. We were all bathed in sweat with no respite. Simultaneously we also called the Saffronstays call centre and complained about the same. Their executive named Ms. Oozma reassured us that they would revert with a solution within 30 minutes. When she did not in the said time, we called back and complained again to an executive called Mr. Junaid. He told us the same, that he would revert with a solution inn30 minutes. Meanwhile the Care taker Mr. Nitin made us speak to someone from the property called Dinesh who said the temperature was too high outside so you’ll will have to wait till 5.30 pm for the AC to cool. Which meant we would have to spend the next 2 days in sweltering heat within a property that was supposed to be well chilled to expect the least. With our parents and little ones suffering in the extreme heat, we decided to leave at once after paying for the lunch we had at the property. We kept calling the Saffronstays call centre but to no avail. None of the executives called back with a solution to their issues. When we were leaving the Manager Dinesh rudely informed us that AC’s were working just fine and if you’ll leave, you’ll will not get the refund for the stay that we had paid. They didn’t even bother offering an alternate accommodation available with them in the nearby vicinity. The rooms were big and had insufficient tonnage of air-conditioner which was also the reason the room Manjit
