We were disappointed with the food experience. We had asked the team if we could have a barbecue and offered to pay extra. Initially, they promised this would be arranged, but later on they allowed barbecue service only for a larger group that arrived afterward, while we were denied it despite the earlier commitment. On the positive side, the staff were polite and behaved well. However, there was also an issue with our room lock—it was broken. We were told it couldn’t be fixed until the next day.

Thankyou for your review ma’am . We do understand that you requested for a bbq . We did ask you well in advance if you needed bbq and we expect you to understand that raw food for bbq needs to be marinated for minimum 2 hours to be cooked. Our menus also mention to please place your food orders 3 hours before meal time . The reason being a remote place and we do not stock ready made food in our freezers. Your order came in very late and the staff did inform you that it will take 2 hours and then you refused to wait that long. The large group placed their orders in the morning even though they checked in late . You were also offered to opt for the veg snacks that they ordered in their bbq which we could manage at a quicker pace but you denied . We are still sorry that you had to face this. Regarding the room lock , yes we agree that there was a malfunction but it did lock from the inside . The locks and other similar things cannot be fixed immediately in a remote place like Coorg as technicians will either come the next day or after 48 hours . However , we still appreciate that you respected our staff. Thankyou for choosing our stay. We hope to serve you better in future .

The property is really amazing , stunning views and kind staff. Property manager [Thimmiah] was amazing. It is worth every penny, although choice of food could be little better, it’s not bad, but choice could be better.

The villa was in an offbeat location and yet with all amenities. The staff is extremely sweet and helpful and the food is amazingly delicious while light on the pocket. The monsoons are a fantastic time to have a staycation here

The location of the Villa, the decor of the place and the vibe of the host and the staff is amazing. The place is in between a home stay and a starred hotel. You can choose the food you want and have excellent service. The approach from Bangalore is also all good. It was a lovely experience for us.

Me and wife choose for our 1st year anniversary ,Man it did not disappoint at all. We were lucky enough I would say as we had the whole resort for our stay as it was jus us. The Ambience lit up during sun down. The Lakeview, surrounded by lush Greenary. The rooms were very neat and clean , especially the restroom as I was surprised the way it's maintained. I would definitely give it 5 star for its rooms alone. It's a beautiful and Amazing Place. The food was really good , took me by surprise due to various stays iv been in. Kudos to the chef and the caretakers. Radhika was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything, Manoj was 24/7 around to make sure. Worth the money I spent for the trip. Thank you guys for making a wonderful stay.

Pros: 🏞 Beautiful Location: Nestled in a coffee plantation and overlooking a serene lake, the setting is truly picturesque and peaceful. Perfect for a quiet getaway. 🏡 Well-Designed Property: The architecture and rooms are aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. 🍽 Good Food: Although the menu is limited (especially for breakfast), the meals are thoughtfully prepared and taste great. 🙌 Excellent Service: Manoj, who seems to handle almost everything, is warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The level of personal care extended is noteworthy. 🦆 Charming Additions: Ducks waddling around and a small play area make it a delightful experience for young kids—at least outdoors. Cons: 🧹 Room Service Needs Improvement: Cleaning practices could be more hygienic. For instance, using the same brush for both the toilet and the basin is unacceptable. 👨🔧 Severely Understaffed: One person handling check-ins, room service, food, and luggage is just not sustainable. It impacts the quality of service across the board. 🐜 Bug Issues: Rooms had a lot of insects, making it uncomfortable—especially for children. 🔐 Safety Concerns: Our room’s door lock wasn’t functional, and despite informing staff and having valuables in the room, we returned to find it left open. That was deeply unsettling. 👶 Not Child-Friendly Indoors: While the outdoors is charming, the indoor space isn't very suitable for families with young kids due to the bug issues and overall maintenance gaps. ⚠️ Attention to Detail Missing: A place this beautiful deserves better upkeep and staffing to truly live up to its potential.

Thank you for taking our time to give us your valuable feedback. We are happy that you loved our properties design , location and food. However we are sorry that you faced certain inconveniences. We would also like bring a few things to your notice. We have 7 employees for a 6 bedroom property. Yes Manoj is quite an all rounder but no he does not handle everything. We have two head chefs preparing meals. Along with him 3 more cleaning staff and a manager who unfortunately wasn’t well then and did not report to work . The menu -yes it’s limited as we make fresh meals and storage is challenge here Thankyou for pointing out the cleaning issues . We will take even extra care about this . For the bugs -our property is located amidst Lush plantation and hence we tell our guests to keep the mesh closed post 5 pm specially when it’s raining . Bugs tend to creep in with the slightest gap and light. We do not use insecticide because that affects our plants but sometimes in nature these are the shortcomings of living in nature. Nonetheless thank you for bringing this to our notice. We will improve. we are sorry your stay wasn’t as comfortable. We hope to serve you better in future.
