The Mark Kolkata – Honest Review Honestly, not a great experience. Food wasn’t good, the room felt very poorly maintained, and the overall ambience had a strange smell throughout. Wouldn’t really recommend it.

The hotel is situated in a good location in Esplanade. There are restaurants and hotels nearby. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel staff were quite helpful and cordial. Overall, I had a great experience with my family.

Affordable room for short stay.

Location is OK. Room was upgraded to Suite and it was nice and fantastic. Clean and all items were in working condition. We ordered dinner and took about 1 hour to get, usually same with other guests. Food was good and fresh. Breakfast was good.

The Mark offers premium rooms and a good price. Their staff is very helpful and have helped us throughout our stay. We stayed in the presidential suite which is very spacious and we'll maintained. Rohit, Porna and Birattam at the reception were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The location is very ideal for all iconic eateries and shopping areas along with Eden gardens and Victoria Memorial

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. First of all, I was charged ₹400 for parking my car by the hotel itself. But after paying and checking out, another local boy who apparently “manages” parking there stopped our car again and demanded more money for parking. This was extremely unprofessional and left a very bad impression. Secondly, the basic amenities were missing. There were no toiletries provided in the room, which is something every guest expects. The location of the hotel is also not good – not convenient and not safe feeling. The only decent part was that the rooms themselves were okay in terms of cleanliness, but when the basics like toiletries, proper parking facilities, and a good location are not taken care of, the stay feels uncomfortable. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. They really need to improve their management, provide essential facilities, and be more transparent with guests.

The location of the property is in a very congested and old part of Kolkata. Though it is convenient to reach the US visa centre, the surrounding area is very dirty . Inside the hotel it was very clean , suite room was spacious. Food was just not up to the mark. The dining room was smelling very bad. On the whole their service was good but not at all worth staying . I would not recommend this to any of my known people
