We stayed at The Chalet in Coorg, and honestly, the pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this place is. The house is huge, incredibly spacious, and surrounded by a lovely garden. The wooden interiors give it a charming, antique vibe — perfect for anyone looking to get away from the chaos of city life and unwind with family in peace and comfort. What really made our stay special was the owner. From check-in to checkout, everything was perfectly managed. He took the time to explain all the amenities and house rules clearly. But what truly stood out was his kindness and willingness to help — our car broke down on the second day, and he went above and beyond to assist us. He helped us find the best mechanic in Madikeri, arranged local transportation, and even helped get our car towed at a very reasonable cost. Throughout it all, he kept checking in on us to make sure we were okay. It’s rare to meet such genuinely caring hosts. The Chalet is not just a stay — it’s an experience made even better by the people behind it. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable Coorg getaway! 🌿

We booked The Chalet for 2 nights and the time was perfect. September 3rd week was perfect timing where there very little rain and very pleasant weather. This house located in a prime place however very private. We got the route map well in advance and Rakshit supported well. The house is spacious and has basic cooking vessels. We had cooked food for us there. There is an option to order through Swiggy and even we can directly order to restaurants. Rakshit also helped to buy coffee, spices and arranged Jeep for Mandalpatti visit. We enjoyed Coorg with the pleasant weather and the stay made it unforgettable ever.

well maintained villa and owner is too good person

We had a wonderful 3 nights, 4 days stay at The Chalet Villa in Coorg. The property is absolutely charming, offering serene garden views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our holiday truly relaxing. The villa is well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, with 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 clean bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living space with a flat-screen TV. The private balcony was a perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee while soaking in the beauty of Madikeri. The convenience of free private parking and WiFi added to the comfort of our stay. A special mention to Mr. Rakshith, the owner, who was extremely helpful and attentive, making sure our stay was seamless. His warm hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel at home. The location is also ideal—just 2.2 km from Raja’s Seat, making it easy to explore local attractions while still enjoying the privacy and calm of the villa. Overall, The Chalet is a perfect getaway for families or groups looking for comfort, convenience, and a homely yet luxurious experience in Coorg. Highly recommended!

In the month of August 2025, We are group of 9 travellers from bangalore to travelled to coorg. After searching for suitable home stay ,we found Chalet home stay as our favourable option. We have stayed here for three nights and found the amenties provided in house quite adequate and satisfied our needs. The home stay owner is quite cooperative and responsible. The house is equiped with modern facilities , neat and clean environment. This property is a young home stay started a year back and visitor suggestions are well received by the owner.

A beautiful house with all the amenities and mountain view, awesome owner taking care of every small detail from a well equipped kitchen to a cute puja room with cleanliness, medicine box and also arranged a born fire for us.

Wonderful experience at Chalet, the owner Mr Rakshit is such a gentleman and very helpful , taking care of cleanliness and maintenance of the house. Also has a beautiful pooja room. He made arrangements for born fire on our request. The location is also prime with clouds and Mountain View from the balcony. I would highly recommend this for the stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The space was very spacious and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The hospitality was great, with warm and welcoming hosts. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind. Although the location meant there wasn't a great view due to surrounding houses, the homestay made up for it with its fully equipped kitchen and overall comfort. I'd definitely recommend this place for a comfortable and cozy stay.

It was a wonderful experience staying there,great ambience with co-operative owner and care-taker.It has a vintage look which will make you feel nostalgic. Everything were neat n tidy with organized kitchen.Its a place where you can visit again n again and everytime when you'll visit there you will get the same homely vibe.

Its a whole villa - homestay amidst of coorg. Its really affordable and Justify more than the money spent. Its a Home away home where one can seperate rooms with attached toilet in all the rooms inside the house, provided with kitchen and all the required items, sofa parking area and what not.
