Overall good stay Food was delicious with a variety spread in buffet breakfast and dinner. Only thing I want to point is our room was in 2nd floor but there is no lift. We had kids with us. So keep in mind if u r Booking for senior citizens or if u r with kids. Food was delicious with a variety of spread in buffet breakfast and dinner. Rooms were not clean we have to ask them to change bed sheet bathroom was stinking from from drainage also attendant of dining hall was rude and we hired cab from hotel travel desk driver of the car was rude and misbehaving properties have fantastic location. worst will never recommend anyone this hotel will suggest do any hotel except this .. rooms not clean . Also rooms were not good we had high hopes from them. Food was good, but all facilities were average to poor. This was terrible and unexpected experience.

V comfortable Location which is about 20 mins away from Jagannath temple. Food and hospitality was great. Overall property was better than expected. Room maintenance could be better.

The location is bit far from the city. The service viz room & restaurant is perfect. however the rooms are not upto the 5 star mark. The kids game room has less options.

The lobby and the pool were beautiful. The rooms were so small. The roof almost felt like it was caving in. The windows did not open and there was no fan in the room, so you had no option but to use the AC. Some lights in the room didn’t work so you had to use the master switch to turn everything off. There was no floor light and no way to just keep one light on so you could see at night. Even though the room was not marked for housekeeping, the staff entered the room in our absence while our personal belongings were on the bed. Fortunately did not lose anything. The food was below average to say the least. We paid 2500 for four sandwiches. We had requested twin beds at the time of booking. Only one of our rooms was a twin bed and we got the keys to it at 6PM when we arrived at the property at 12PM. Would never recommend this property to anyone. I don’t know how it’s four stars. If you’re in Puri just stay at the Taj.

Worst room with good sercice

I have no complaints on staff. They are very nice. I booked a sea view room. I stayed two days. I didn't get a sea view room. when I asked they told me to stand on the balcony in the corner to see the sea. I felt like I was trespassing to the next door room. I found a bedbug. One night we had heavy rain and in the morning I saw a lot of water. when I complained without hearing or looking where there water was coming they came to the conclusion that we opened the balcony door or dropped the water bottle. Someone suggested this hotel and I booked. Other than these issues, everything was good. I would rate zero for the room and service was excellent.

The resort’s beach(public beach) is dirty and there is no proper beach access service can be improved and rooms can be of better quality. However the pool and game room was well maintained and a variety of vegetarian food options were avail for the buffets

Overall experience was ok. Rooms and breakfast was good. However there are few issues, approach road to Sterling Puri is horrible due to ongoing road work. Also there was disturbance in the room due to repairs in the above floor during day and worst part is the noise during midnight as well which was very annoying . They should have taken care of it while providing rooms which they didn’t. I expected comfortable stay when I booked this expensive hotel but was bit disappointing.
