Ranjan Villa

We stayed here for a night during the MahaKumbh. A family home converted to a homestay but called 'hotel'.

This property was like a home away from home. Besides the hospitality of the staff was excellent.

I booked ranjan villa in civil lines but was shifted to ranjan hotel in allahpur. On reaching there, after a gruesome journey, i was taken to a room with two mattresses on floor. On my refusal and insistence i was finally moved to the original booking place after a wait of over 1. 30 hours. Upon reaching the room i found it lacking in basic amenities as reflected. The following was missing- a. No tv b. No toiletries c. Stinking linen and pile of it lying on floor. D. No housekeeping e. No teabags, sugar, milk f. It was a makeshift arrangement. No value for money and caused much inconvenience to me and my wife as we are senior citizens. It was a nightmare and i would like to be compensated. I would also advice travellers not to book this as it amounts to fleecing with such an inflatory amount. Highly unsatisfactory experience.

First, We had booked 2 deluxe rooms almost a month ago. We even confirmed our stay 2-3 days prior to our arrival and even on the day when we arrived. But when we reached property in the evening, they only gave us 1 room and opened up 1 servant quarter in the name of deluxe. When we demanded, they started saying that they gave it to other family who had paid more, we booked early so we got it in less price but now they weren't even accepting their mistake . Infact were saying take back money and no need to stay that too at late in the evening. When we said that we'll contact and will update them about the situation and will downgrade their review, it's only after that they made arrangements for accomodation in their other hotel but there also we got only one room.and other room was made available late at night. Staff was cooperative but their main owner who was a lady and her son they had mismanaged and overbooked and had caused such discomfort even a day before with other customer as well, lady owner made all the ruckus and behaved very badly

All was good, recommended the same for fellow travellers, try the 🏠 ly food prepared by the staff based on your request.

The stay was awesome. It's just like a homestay environment in the centre of the city. Adjacent to azad chandrasekhar part, it provides accessibility to the other important places in the city. The staff is very supportive, and the owner, mrs sunitha singh ji, is very cordial and humble. We stayed here for 3 days especially in the kumbhamela time during jean 2025. Without any second thought one can prefer this.

The location of the property is excellent, it's located in a very peaceful area. The staff is good and the food served was great. The property is old and doesn't provide luxurious ambience, but for a Homestay, it's great 👍.

The hosts provided all home cooked food as per our request and modifications.
Homely atmosphere and lovely hosts. If you wish to stay at a professional accommodations don't visit. If you look for relaxation and Sangam approach this is the place!

They were generous in letting me check-in even before 12 PM. Their geyser in bathroom was not working, it's difficult to take Bath.

Nice place. Need some place for parking and please include breakfast in the room tariff.

We three people stayed in the hotel. For hot water, we have to wait 1 hour.
I ordered dinner at 7pm but staff gave me at 11 pm. After several reminder. Slow service of the hotel.

It's a good hotel and having a nice staff.

Food service and staff were good. No major issue.
Peaceful place of stay. Home food was available.

Besides all, cordial welcome and heartiest reception from the owner and family touches my heart. In a word it is very very good.
