Ok, I'll start with the pros. Pros:- 1. Quiet, little place nestled in between a forest. 2. Lovely woodwork and accommodation 3. Good caretakers. 4. Good home cooked food. 5. Indoor fireplace. So you can enjoy an indoor fire. 6. Perfect for meditations. 7. Pure air quality. 8. Snow in winter around January 9. Has a barbeque griller. 10. Perfect for a weekend getaway from everything. Cons: 1. Has a 25 min trek through the jungle, so not suitable for old folks. 2. No shops nearby. In case you get something in a hurry, you need to get everything in advance. 3. Not much for children. Since there are no swings and stuff.

You need to trek for 20 mins to reach this house on the top of the mountain. Do not expect luxury here. Go for absolute peace. You can go with a group of friends too. In total 7-8 people can stay here. I would not recommend taking kids though. Also if you have any medical issue of knee then too don't go as the trek requires efforts. There is absolutely nothing in vicinity except a few houses of a village, so whatever you want you will have to stock it up and go there. There is care taker Miss Rajkumari who is taking care of this place. She cooks fine. Overall you will love the seclusion and peace of this place.

It was worthy staying here caretaker Rajkumari was too good owner of the Rambling Rose Cottage let you find the place very easily. Food was simple home cooked. Overall it was a peaceful place if anybody needs a break they can surely pack their bags and can enjoy peace with beautiful greenery here.

Apt for a young couple, youngsters who are keen to trek. This is a nice, cozy place that you would reach after 20-25 minutes of the difficult trek. But mind you, it's worth it. had some good, peaceful time with the family.

If you are looking for some peace amidst natural beauty, this is the perfect destination. The cottage is stunningly beautiful in the middle of a jungle. The caretaker is a wonderful lady who will cook delicious meals for you. If you like trekking and nature walks, you will absolutely adore this place. However, if you do not prefer walking much, this might not be an ideal location as it's a 20-minute trek into the jungle to reach the cottage from the nearest motorable point and a 15-20 minute trek down to the nearest highway. However, it checked all our boxes! Will definitely be coming back here.
