Raasvan, Vrindavan - AM Hotel Kollection

HOTEL ROOM WAS GREAT, CLEAN, GOOD SERVICE, DINNER WAS ALSO GOOD ONE MORE THING, THE HOTEL OWNER IS VERY KIND AND SUPPORTIVE

Raasvan is a small property located slightly away from the main town of Vrindavan. The place is partly renovated, though the washrooms could use better upkeep. Electricity supply and backup are not very reliable, and locals advised caution while using the approach road at night. Unlike most food joints in Vrindavan, Satvik options are not a specialty here. Overall, it provides a modest and average stay experience.

The hotel is not equipped with good staff in kitchen. Only 20% of menu is serviceable and there is only one person in service. When I booked 2 rooms I was shown pictures which had lobby outside the main room and thats why I booked it, when we reached hotel, they told us that picture we saw is of a suite and apologised for uploading wrong pictures. Its pure misguided marketing. I wanted a big room for my parents specially thats why I booked a hotel so far from Vrindavan main city. The housekeeping staff is also not trained much. I had a mouse in my room and despite informing the staff, it took them two reminders and 1 day to change my room. The only good thing about this hotel is the lady manager who feels compassion for suffering guests, but the limitation created by owners/promoters makes her job tough. This hotel is yet to be launched, as told by staff. Truly disappointed. Waste.
