Nirvana By Oztel - Backpacker Hostel

Dear MMT Team, I would like to share my experience of my stay in one the hostel booked in kasol from MMT. I have booked a private room in Nirvana by oztel listed as MMT Value stays. The experience of my stay was pathetic, i along with my two friends reached hostel in the morning and insisted for a early check to the person who was responsible for the checkin in the property first he did not pick up the call after that when he picked up the call he was very rude and later on when we check in at 11.30 based on the mentioned timings, the room given to us had a defected ceiling fan which made huge noise and it was dangerously shaking. The flush of toilet was not working which was repaired after repeated complains. No towels , glasses were kept in the room which were given again after repeated requests. Most unpleasant thing was that there was no electricity since 11 pm till our check out in the morning at 8.30 am. Since the room has sealed windows it was highly suffocating entire night , we were not able to sleep. Moreover there was no-one to address the issue , no one sits in the reception there is no intercom facility in the private room even. Such stay was not at all expected from a property listed on MMT we already raised complaint regarding electricity issue. and we have to left this hotel at early at 8 am as due to electricity issue we won't able to did morning chores. we gave extra for another room in some different hotel.. we don't recommend to stay in hotel booked online by make my trip. they approx but we get better hotels offline in lower rates.

Stay was good. Good location, near to main market and very courteous staff.

food quality is poor and rate is 5 star.

Ok ok stay … as per the price, no facilities were provided. No one even came to clean the room. Room was tiny. Only thing is good that the hotel is in the city, everything is nearby that’s the only reason we stayed here. Otherwise, we didn’t like anything about this place. Let me know if you’d like a more polished or formal version as well.

Good ambience and good behaviour by staff

This stay is heaven for backpackers. Sai, the host of this property makes you feel like home and he is really helpful. Rather than expensive food, everything about this stay is 5/5. The view from the upstairs cafe is amazing. I would definitely choose this property every time I go there.

It is located very close to the road, we just followed the map and reached the hostel. The hostel room was clean, the food was actually tasty and their chai was the best in kasol. The hosts were chill and very helpful. Overall good experience.

Good hotel

The staff is so polite and the stay was amazing i didn't expect the hostel will be so nice and i will suggest my friends to visit and stay there in the nirvana hostel

The stay was good however we booked a dormitory but was denied and paid 700 extra for a single room.

property location was on point ... it was 4 minutes walk from main road... the stay was overall pleasant... we had taken the private room for 2 people... the service was really good...

While chilling out at the terrace, view was amazing, we could literally listen the flow of parvathi river

Terrible experience, the wifi was not working there was no power backup and when the power came the fan was not working properly the ventilation of the room was very bad and the room includes breakfast and the option in including breakfast was only aloo prantha

On a whole it was average as this room didn't feel worth 4k for 2 days. But it is good for people who come as backpackers as it provides clean rooms.

It's a great place at a reasonable price. Mr ajay, the manager was very courteous with all the services. For food would recommend to eat outside and not at the stay. Other than that ticks all the boxes !

Property was very good, rooms were even the host was very helpful and had provided everything beyond the committment. Highly recommended
