the location is the best place about this resort , other than that service or food is not upto the mark.

average stay…rooms are smelly with stains all over wall …bathroom wall are stained ….they have disconnected telecom …so if you need anything you need to walk all the way to reception ….hot water geaser was not working in morning hrrs…which took around 2 hrs to start again…now the worst part is they are charging you 5 k just for stay with no food option….been to a lot of mtdc resorts in maharshtra….unarguably this is the worst one… 2 points are only and only for the location

i not stay that proprty last night becouse i am booking 1 bed room your giving us 8 bed dormetry third class your sarvices me & my family very suffering last day

The location is excellent, but property maintenance needs attention. The TV in the VIP suite I booked was not working. Overall, the kitchen service was below average in terms of food quality and price. There was also a noticeable lack of cleanliness throughout the property.

Not maintained well. Not worthy at a given price. Terrible stay at MTDC. they charge like a 3 star hotel but it seems under value for money

Location - Excellent Food - You need to tell in advance what you want to eat so that they can get the stuff, Taste wise it's okay. Oily food. Service - Is also very average, No such amenities in the room & basic things are available.

Well, there was lot of confusion among the properties of MTDC in Chikhaldara. I opted to go with Old MTDC property as reviews were better. Location- It is situated at prime location with mountain view rooms. The big attraction will be glass bridge which will be completed by next year. This property is just adjacent to it. All suite rooms have valley view and Rooms are spacious with 2 compartments- 1 bedroom with King bed and 1 small room for children with Sofa cum bed. Room was clean and in good condition. 2. Amenities- Not much to talk about. I has good walking area and Parking space. Every room has balcony and attached area opens in the valley....can enjoy good coffee with valley view and great climate. Gives good flavour of Chikhaldara. Food- Here I seen many negative reviews but I must say MTDC everywhere provide local cook and I try local dishes there and always got good taste. Here too was no exception...the food preparation was really good. But options were very less in terms of items, yet taste is fresh and they do not serve stored greavy food. All food they serve is freshly made and hence if you order in advance, you will get good food. Also any hotel in Chikhaldara...you will find many options in menu but only handful of it is available. So foodies will better check for more options. But overall food was good and really didn't make any trouble for stomach. Service - Typical MTDC service, staff was good and courteous but they will not run behind you as bespoke service. They will give you whatever as available..but not out of way. Don't expect service in MTDC hotels Overall the Experience was good. Given full marks for the rooms and food quality. But request MTDC to widen the menu options for food with local taste. Local food items like Patodi or Zunka were not on offer. The taste is good but more options will give better experience

The property is at a fantastic location, road connectivity is fine, the food is one thing in which I think has a great scope of improvement. Overall it's really nice stay to have a few days of chill time. Thanks

I had thought of going on this trip with a lot of hopes, and especially to go to this very place, that I book a room in a Maharashtra Tourism hotel so that I can enjoy an unforgettable experience in that room, but that room was the same old furniture, it was not working, lot of mud in the room, no intercom was working, I had to go and call for water, and that too they would say the bottle is not cold, what is the meaning of my money being wasted by booking a room for one day, and giving such an experience to my wife, why should I spend so much money on an old room and it has no service?

Maintenance issue as usual with MTDC properties. Location is ok. Staff untrained. Food is average. Better properties available in Chikaldhar.

not secured , in midnight watter bottle is also not available, lack of services and security, i would like to recommend please go for other options which is not available booking

Nice ambience, caring service and food quality was also very good overall it just looked so nice, awesome and tased even better. When we are planning to long vacation we preferred MTDC locations and chikhaldara was on top we saw sunrise as well as sunset. It was very good experience but There is lack of service people bcoz need to maintenance the bathroom. But overall I will give 5star. Thnx team.

The rooms were not neatly maintained and staffs were not very cordial. The location is good and quite surrounding.

Hygiene level is super low. Property is amazing wish they could maintain it. When we went there kitchen staff had left before time. There was dust in blankets as if they don’t wash regularly. No service orientation. Not worth the amount they are charging

Catering service is poor
