soloActually, there's no words to say about the stay. In simple words i say it's like home. Wonderful location, peace, home food, hidden places, view, tea. It all makes for a perfect stay, those who are looking outside of the city life. My special thanks to property owners #shyam sir and aunty, no words to explain their hospitality and how they treated me# i'm blessed. This property is highly recommended, those who want to explore mirik.

Nice place to stay but requires remaintenance

familyIts a nice place to stay for a day just to go around mirik. Not too far away from the lake and the monastery. The hospitality of the people at the homestay is wonderful. So much of interest in wanting to know if we are comfortable or not, etc. But there were a few shortcomings that we couldn't let it pass. First and foremost was the need for room heaters, especially as the weather is really cold. The rooms lacked some basic maintenance and upkeep, like loose cupboard doors, no cloth stand. The geyser also wasn't working which i felt was to be checked before us checking in, into the homestay. A personal suggestion is to carry a small kettle and a few 3 in 1 sachets for tea/coffee as requesting the homestay members for some tea or coffee at random hours would be quite painstaking for them and for yourself.

A beautiful homestay in a beautiful place! very friendly host family, cooking the delicious food, growing their own vegetables and trying to lead a self sufficient life style. It's not the perfect place, may be that is why we felt at home. You won't get the feel of a posh hotel stay. But, you won't find any shortcomings. One important note is they have some lovely dogs as pets, in case you are not a pet lover then do not venture here.

Lake view villa mirik

Mirik is a small tourist spot in west bengal. It has a beautiful mirik lake with boating facility. Lake view villa is a homestay located near monastery with beautiful view of the lake. The host family is extremely warm and served delicious local food.
