Hotel O Kodaikanal Vilpatti formerly Kodai Hut

Location of the property is very good. But the guests should only depend upon the Hotel O Kodaikanal Vilpatti formerly Kodai Hut for food. Though the menu shows more than 30 items only one or two are available that too after ordering 3 hrs in advance. On the polling day viz, 19th of april food was not made available and we had to travel to kodai town which is about 8kms, for food. Rooms, though stated to accommodate 3 adults, it is not so actually even for extra single bed as the room is too small. Even for that bed, cover was not provided despite my request. Any how the owner and the staff were courteous. Over all it is an average Hotel O Kodaikanal Vilpatti formerly Kodai Hut.

The room location was nice. Rooms and bath room were maintained good. The staffs were attentive and quick in assistance. The food was pathetic. Room budget should be revised and it seems to be little costly. Booking through MakeMyTrip was beneficial.
Room has to be maintained very clean and no dust should be there in the top corners of wall.
Food was not good, half cooked chapathis and dishes were not tasty.

The property is located 4 km from the kodaikanal city, very good views from the property. A good place to visit with family and friends. We have ordered food for dinner and breakfast the taste an quality is good. We have booked through makemy trips normally the breakfast will be complementary but this property has no complementary breakfast. Pet friendly. Little more cleanliness may attract more crowd

As per our liking we had a pleasant stay, as in, it was away from the hustle bustle of the city so peaceful and food home cooked so again a plus only thing which requires work is outdoor and some room furniture maintenance.

Property is in the good location to enjoy the climate but room is not maintained that great for the amount they have charged. Food is really good at the premium cost.

Bathroom handle is not working and geyser is not working. Also in the morning so much noise around there, else food and room cleanness is really good.

The Hotel O Kodaikanal Vilpatti formerly Kodai Hut’s no-frills setup was charming in its own way. The clean rooms and friendly staff made it a perfect choice.

In the room no towel, soap and shampoo. They can add this, please tell them to provide these things, otherwise we enjoyed.
