Hotel New Shradha

No proper room service, no basic facilities like bathroom soap, towel and mineral water. Room cleanliness is also not proper nor bed sheets and blankets are thoroughly cleaned

Stayed in jun e 2023. Great location, walkable from railway station and easy access to autos to anywhere nice food and quick service professional hospitality there is scope of improvement in room maintenance and hygiene front. Over all, good experience

Comfortable stay. Clean rooms. Very helpful and cooperative staff. Good food. Would visit here again. If traveling with aged people it's a good option to stay here as they will not face any problem. Nice hotel on the railway road katra. Staff is polite and courteous. Visited with family and had comfortable stay there. Dine-in arrangement and room-service is fine. Rooms are spacious with attached balcony. Pick-up and drop service available complimentary to helipad for mata vaishno devi darshan.

Our train to Katra was 3 hours late so we were mildly flustered en route to our hotel. However, New shradha delivered from the word go. Just near Railway Station (and fairly easy to find, the hotel has an impressive facade and an excellent approach for vehicles along with ample parking. The interiors of the hotel were elegant and beautifully done. The folks at the reception were cordial and accommodating. The check-in process itself was completed in barely under a minute. We had booked a double room with an extra bed. The room was clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. Our window opened to a view of the Trikuta Mountains housing Vaishno Devi (we were given this without asking for it but under peak times it might be prudent to put in a word if such a requirement is there. The bathroom had wet area - dry area separation which is usually the mark of a different class of hotels in India. Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay whether within our rooms or in the common areas of the hotel. These aside, two stand-out aspects were: 1. Complimentary drop to and pick-up from Banganga Checkpost which meant that we started our treks to Bhawan relatively fresh and without any additional cost. This perked us up significantly. 2. Complimentary breakfast buffet which was a full-fledged affair with a good variety of options (vegetarian only) and eminently palatable. All in all, an excellent stay. P.S: We booked this place for approx. 1500 (Room for 2 ) after a rather sizeable discount on Goibibo.

Management is very aggressive.not polite.never book again also informed to my friends and relatives.management refused to give the room,after some time again they allowed.because I booked this room very cheap rate and there hotel is very costly .and at certain time they told me “to whom you want give complaints , you give it, but we will not allocate a room due to low rate booking.

Overall Hotel and staff service is good.

Great hotel !! Make my trip is best. Outstanding experience. A+++. Walking distance from railway station. Very good manager and staff. New rooms.. Very neat rooms. They also provide taxi for Katra for just 50rs. And since it is very near to railway station its great.
