Frustrated with the hotel services.

Fireplace/heater is not provided in room even after it is mentioned in the description. Room was not clean. Parking space was not provided. I have parked my vehicle in front of the main door of the guest house. Owner tried to manipulate me for exclusion of the items. Bedsheets/blankets were not clean. I have highlighted the items to the owner but he is irresponsible of the services in the hotel.

Location wise not a good choice. We went to give our exam . Distance from MG Marg is almost 1.5km. No food of our choice were available in the hotel. Staff were busy with their work and t.v rather attending and prioritizing the guest.

Best budget Hotel

We have stayed many hotels in Gangtok but its the best budget Hotel near mg marg. We booked an oyo room for 3k in ran pool but its not so clean and does not in Hotel restaurant. So I suggest this is the best deal (1k per night). Food was satisfactory, service was great and don't ask for location, its superb just 0. 7 km from City center (mg marg) Thanks for Reading.

One night stay at Mount Pleasant

Just a night's stay is not enough to judge a place, but Mt. Pleasant surely scores big with regards to its room interior. The wood-finished decor is superb and the ceiling has been stylized for the lights. Overall cleanliness is good and maintained properly, though the bed sheets were stained. The room service is good and prompt but obviously lacks finesse. The small reception lounge is nice and attractive though you will not always find someone at the desk. A little more attentiveness and professionalism would do a great favor to this place. The only real hassle you've to face is the fact that the MG Marg road is at least 20-25 mins walking distance away. Mostly, you would have to take a cab for the famous street. But this is almost a given fact for most hotels in Gangtok, unless you are staying somewhere really close to MG Marg. Overall it was a nice stay and I hope you will enjoy it as well.
