Think twice before you book hotel arya

I was welcomed by a statement that there was no booking from your side. The welcome was very cold, and my family had to wait in the lobby for the time i parked my car, and i had to argue with the booking details to gain an entry. On getting the room after hot exchanges we found that they were asking for extra payment for the mattress the that were booked for the stay. There was a tv in the room but it failed to work, it was a smart tv but the net was poor and couldn't watch it, a new tv was provided the set top box was changed the same worked for 1 hr and then it failed again. The next day the snapped wire had to be replace before it started working. That also on repeated requests. The toiletries and the tea kits were = not given enough in numbers. The request for the waiters and housekeeping persons was a time taking process. The deposited key was once said to be not deposited with the room kept uncleaned.

No clean bed and bedsheets. Tv not working and they said recharge not available. Hot water not coming is tap and after asking 30min later hot water came. Room service phone not working even many time reception also not responding to calls. It's horrible staying at this price. Totally dissatisfied.

The hotel is under renovation. The front desk person was unable to give room keys. They ask the housekeeping to open the room with master key. The ac wasn’t working. No wifi and no mobile network inside the room. Was asked to change room. The other room was dirty and. Stinky. Had to check out in 30 minutes from checking in.

familyWe reached the hotel at 1. 30 pm as our train was late. The reception was the worst ever. We booked a suit for 2 adults and 2 children. However they gave us a small room in which the bed can accommodate only 2 people. When we asked for extra bed, we received a mattress to be put on floor. The master bed mattress is also broken with wires from the spring popping out. The tv didn’t had any connection. They wanted to repair once we checked in. Also there is no wi-fi. While we booked for 4 people, towels provided were for 02 people only.

familyThe hotel had problems with hot water on a chilly day. We were on a hurricane tour and that's why we chose arya as it was in the centre of the planned visits. But they expected us to turn on the rap and wait for half and hour instead of instant hit water. This resulted us in bathing with cold water as we had to leave and then it made us sick on our return to kolkata. Not expected this service at this rate. More over they did not have a disposable spoon or fork for packaged fod. Quality of food was below par

Overpriced for a very general service

coupleThe rooms are smelly, the ac was not working the bed felt itchy and i literally saw cigarettes bud in my room since i checked in very late in the night i was way too tired to complain about it to the front desk. Being charged 4500 for a room seemed overpriced
