Himalayan Gateway Residency

Location is near mall road but not reachable by car. It's difficult for elderly people and children. Rooms are at 2nd floor and 3rd floor which is again very difficult for all. Stairs are small. Rooms have some basic amenities. No restaurant. Food available only on preorder which was the worst thing we faced. No room service, bed tea u can avail after 8 am. Breakfast also not available as per your choice. Meal only egg meal. Room heaters available at 400- that also we took at night around 9 pm and at the morning they took it back stating reason that their owner is old and he need that. Most unprofessional behavior and not humble at all. I need to rush outside for food as my child was hungry and they couldn't provide lunch. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very poor.

We had booked a deluxe room for 3 days. On the first day they had given a standard room instead of deluxe. For the last 2 days they changed to deluxe. They were turning off the geyser again n again. There was no recharge for the tv channels for the last 2 days. For wifi there was no internet connection. There were no proper food facilities.

The staff is very helpful and looked after all our needs as we were single girls traveling. They came to pick us up as we couldn't find the property

Worst hotel if you are recommending this type, soon you are to sure to be rated third class app.

Had some problem finding the hotel, because Google map was taking us to different location. After asking few people, reached the destination. Location was better than what Google map was showing. Room was comfy and view from room was great. What I liked the most was the ventilation. Staffs way of talking was good and professional. Nice stay.

Near by mal Road, good service

Location was not so good, it was near to a very untidy place.
Overall good experience. Room was more expensive than average price in darjeeling.

Excellent and well organised property, the OYO attendant was very helpful and the hotel staffs were friendly too.

Experience is really good, but I give 4 star as a total. Room cleaning is not good, and corner roosted by hotel) are damp and dark (no sunlight). Other services are really good, most of all staff are excellent and food was marvelous . Cook Great. View roosted for last day) are very nice.

All are good, good behaviour from staff, well furnished room, no complain against the room and services, but it took a time of 10 minutes to reach mall road by footballing. Not too far from centre as mentioned on other reviews. Totally false information provided by some other person on review. All are good.

The hotel is too far from the mall road. It is very hard for a aged person to climb the hilly road about 10-15 minutes & tp reach the hotel. Hotel reception is situated on the 2nd floor that is too painful. There are many more good hotels near mall road which are far better than this hotel. Restaurant facilities also not available. Sometime the gyser doesn't work.

We had booked our room through MMT. Our room was in the 4th floor and the hotel doesn't have a lift facility. Also it is too far from the center. We had to walk to the center every time for breakfast and lunch. Also, the approach road was very bad.

Good stay but location of hotel is not reached by any vehicle. Travel approx 300 Mtr by foot.

Nearly 3 to 4 mint walking distance from chaurasta, Darjeeling. WiFi was available with weak connection. Rest was same as shown in MMT. Very neat & clean hotel, staff were very cooperative no doubt
