I stayed at gypsy hostel for two days, and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the staff was helpful. Perfect for a budget-friendly, cozy stay!

We stayed in the deluxe ac room. The room was pretty average. There wasn't much crowd in the hostel even though we went there on a saturday.

Thanks for your feedback ! To your knowledge on Saturday no of guest we had was 24 people including dorm and private room . Which means we are sold out . We have 5 private room and one dorm also a private hut . If you need more people you can choose any boutique kind of hotels which will have 50 rooms or more where you can find more people . Happy travelling !

Brilliant hostel run by very friendly and helpful people. I felt really good there. Not far from good restaurants cafes and general stores. My room was good, bed comfortable, price affordable. Common outdoor area really nice and cosy with hippie vibe. Kitchen with fridge available. They helped me with scooter rental too. I highly recommend this hostel for stay in auroville. Many thanks!

We don’t have 100 plus amenities and we have amenities like common space with music speakers , common kitchen , wifi , pet friendly , sports like volley ball ,football , badminton, chess ,carrom board .all these we have inside our premises . Thanks for your beautiful review .

Great place on a budget

The best thing about this place is its location. Its right next to most famous and popular coffee shop in auroville - marc's. And few mins walk from most popular food joints in auroville - tanto's, b&c, auroville cafe etc. The pricing is the second best thing - especially on weekdays. For a very good price, one can stay right in heart of auroville.

They showed the place as within auro ille. But its 5 km away. Outside. Owner doesn't pick up falls. Usually.

Lovely, cosy property. Out from the crowded pondy. Privacy at your best along with heartwarming and peaceful ambience. Host hary is really humble, cordial and makes you feel comfortable. Great hospitality overall.

The place was nice. It's near all the cafes, hotels, as well as from auroville. Hari is a super host. He was very supportive. The rooms were clean. I'll definitely recommend gypsy hostel to traveller's.
