It was a nice stay with spacious rooms. If you're travelling with family and kids they have rooms which provide twin beds.

Average Stay
Lights keep coming in the room, old window ac installed making noise always while running. Furniture condition old and polish peeling off. Walls having fungus. Not worth at all for the price charged.

The room wasn’t upto the mark, with paying 13.5k for a night. It was smelling dust and i found a used wrapper and a used towel beneath the sofa. Plus the breakfast had very minimal vegetarian items. Also, the wifi kept on disconnecting every few minutes.

Hotel Grand is not recommended to stay. There were no face tissues in the room and when asked for some the receptionist told to call room service and we don’t have it. No tooth brush and paste was provided in the room and no shaving kit either. Room smelled and humid which lead to myself falling sick.

Very Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money
The reception staff was quite rude and unprofessional, which left a bad first impression. The room was in terrible condition — everything looked old, damaged, and poorly maintained. There were cobwebs in the corners, and it felt like the room hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. Definitely not worth the money charged. The location is very convenient , clean and safe . The hotel is somewhat iconic in its structure . The services are good . The standard rooms have only a small window that also houses the AC. Food - okay .

My stay 25th-26th jean 2025 is the 6th time i have been a guest of the grand hotel, ballard estate, fort, mumbai and each time i have been allocated the same room (29. Initially thought it was ok but then discovered that the fridge was defunct and was duly replaced - the replacement fridge worked but was set uneven so kept wobbling until i reset properly on the trolley the later found the floor was damaged and reported this to me day manager. I am afraid i found him somewhat lacking - picking up incoming call in the middle of my request - i felt he should have dealt with my request first and leave the incoming calls to his staff - his focus should be to the guests already staying at the hotel and rather those making enquiries on the phone about future room booking/availability. Cleaning and catering staff get full marks.
