Very bad experience, untidy rooms, hotel under renovation...wanted to stay 2 nights change my plans to stay only 1 night...

Average hotel with advantage of property located in front of river bank. You can have nice sun rice view from hotel itself. Room service is average.

Location was good. But room and toilet was terrible. Food was ok. Not at all recommended with family.

The hotel provides minimal amenities: a room, a bed, and hot water. Its only advantage is its location on the bank of the river ganga near to assi ghat.

The hotel's location and cleanliness was good. However the breakfast quality is very poor. Overall over priced property.

Photoes are misguiding. The rooms are very small and can use regular and thorough cleaning. Restroom is dirty. Can provide clean linen, towels and toiletries. View of ganges river is not at all appiling.

The property is located right on the banks of river ganga. Rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. All have ac. Some rooms have a view of the river. You can see the sun rising from the property. Transport is available right outside the premises. It is on the ghat from where you can take a cruise boat. It is walking distance from assi ghat. Assi ghat is where ganga aarti happens in the mornings and evenings. Subah-e-benaras also happens there. The in-house restaurant is nice. The chef accommodates your requests. The staff is generally helpful. Others restaurants are there in assi ghat. People were very helpful and accomodative. I fell sick on the last day and we extended the stay by an hour. I also requested them to make a special hot drink with haldi and ginger to relieve the fever. They did accommodate such small requests.

Very poor room service, rooms are not cleaned regularly, though the hotel is on the bank of the river but customer care is very poor.

Stay at ganga monestry is so terrible that i can't remember again. View the ambiance of the room is not explainable, wall are rubbed up, and the stinking smells are from the bathroom, acs are not cooling the rooms, leans are also shabbey state, door mats are never washed, no tea/coffee satches, toiletry kits are provided at room. Tv connection is not provided in the room. Further complementary breakfast is below the mark. Overall, stay at ganga monestry is not price worthy at all. Further.

we visited varanasi between 11th and 13th and we specifically planned this trip considering our stay at hotel ganga monastery. A riverside property and the pictures of the hotel available were simply stunning, it's a pathetic place to stay and definitely not at all advisable to any one visiting with family. nothing really worked.

Hotel is good but bathroom is very conjected.

As per 3 star rating. Small rooms. Ac was not functioning. Amenities like welcome kit, electric kettle for hot water n tea kit was not provided. Rooms were not cleaned despite of keys was handed over at the reception

Varanasi Ganga ghats area is ancient city, conjugated and full of devotees… so most of the streets are blocked for vehicles. Majority of hotels in Ganga area are in those streets where you cannot take your taxi or Auto or even tuk-tuk (battery operated rickshaw)…

I got fooled by the location. Yes, the location was very nice but rest everything was just not upto the mark. Small dingy rooms, no room amenities. Extremely poor property.

Stayed for one night. Excellent location on the banks of the River. Very courteous staff. Lack of coffee/tea in the room was a bit of a drawback but the views and proximity to the boats a big plus.
