We checked in to Fortune walkway mall when we were absolutely tired after having gone through poor experience of checking in to Motimahal Inn, Haldwani. To our absute happiness, not only the structure but the staff was so so welcoming that we forgot the bad experience. The room was extremely comfortable, with even small needs of the guests catered for. We had our breakfast the next morning. The courteous staff made our experience thrilling. The location of the restaurant at 7th floor in treatment to the eyes with thickly wooded hills in the background. Overall, we are so pleased and happy that we would like to make this property as our goto place whenever we are in this area in future. Terrible service experience, continuous drilling noise in the room, which starts at 6 AM in the morning and then last till 5 PM in the evening you can stay at this hotel. In case you want to end up with a headache.

I visited an ITC property for the first time with my family and was quite disappointed with the experience, particularly during dinner and breakfast. We faced several issues with the staff's behavior. At the restaurant, we were strictly denied the option to sit at a table of our choice. A staff member told us it was reserved for other guests, yet no one ever came to occupy that table while we were there. Additionally, although we were called for breakfast by the same staff member, we were later denied entry to the restaurant, being told that other guests were having breakfast. Such unwelcoming and unacceptable service is highly disappointing and not expected from a reputed brand like ITC.

Disappointed by Service – Not Up to ITC Standards We stayed at Fortune Walkway Mall, Haldwani, expecting a premium experience, especially since it’s marketed as one of the best 4-star hotels in the area under the ITC group. Unfortunately, the service did not match the reputation. Let’s start with the good—the food quality was genuinely impressive. Every dish we ordered was tasty and well-prepared. However, the service experience left a lot to be desired. We had to call three times just to get our luggage delivered to the room, and even twice for food service, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. To make matters worse, plates were never sent to the room even after repeated requests. During our stay, a bhajan group arrived at the hotel, and it seemed like all the attention of the staff shifted to them. Regular guests were left waiting while the staff seemed preoccupied elsewhere. The bathroom cleanliness was also below par—the sink sides had visible stains and needed proper scrubbing. For a hotel associated with the ITC brand, such negligence reflects poorly. Overall, while the food was a plus, the lack of basic service and cleanliness brings a bad name to the Fortune and ITC brands. A hotel that charges premium rates should at least ensure prompt service and clean facilities.

Approach to hotel confusing, check in is good, room is good, food is disappointing( buffet), staff at Restaurent is humble , polite but unprofessional, checkout is ok. Overall not value for the money spent.

the property is very conveniently located. it is quite near to kathgodam railway station. Even haldwani station is not much far . as the hotel is located in a mall itself it gives good opportunities to shoppers. 2 film screening halls are in the same building, one can enjoy watching movies. The staff is very courteous and helpful Food is excellent. Rooms are neat and clean, well maintained and provides ample space. House keeping is quite good. It must surely be in yr Stay List if you happen to visit Haldwani or Kathgodam. Even people planning to visit Nainital and nearby places, they can stay here 4.5 marks out of 5 to this property.

"Unfortunately, my experience at hotel was poor. The rooms were smaller than expected, and the window view was obstructed by the adjacent building. Despite this, I had hoped for better communication from the staff. However, I decided to check out within an hour, the manager and receptionist didn't seem interested in understanding my reasons for leaving.Although location is very good from railway station and on main road . Furthermore, the prices seemed high compared to similar properties. To improve, the hotel could focus on enhancing room amenities ( no table with dressing mirror ), staff responsiveness, and competitive pricing."
