Downtown Anjuna - The Party Hostel

It's simply superb. I booked through MMT app. Good ambience and pool also nice. WORTH OF MONEY

Very poor service. Lack of basic amenities like working charging points, clean bedsheets.

U can stay one day and night.Next day u feel bored and very rude behaviour from the receptionist .

Rooms were small, no lockers to keep personal belongings. Weird staffs who are always inebriated.

Did not try food but rooms were good n clean. Staff could have been little more courteous.

Satff was not supportive. Also, i had booked 6 bed dormantory with balcony room but they refused to give me room with balcony even though it was clearly mentioned in my booking details done with MMT. Then i had to pay extra money to get the room with balcony because i had no option beacuse of heavy rain. Also, they charge 10 percent service charge on ebery food item even if you just drink beer at the bar counter.

Property was too bad , facilities is also very bad,they didn't clean the room ,we also lost our belongings

on mmt , stay was very average staff was not very friendly in 4 days stay they didn't clean room once we had to call them and ask for cleaning but they refused saying housekeeping time is 2 to 5 n that time we were out to explore goa . rooms and ambience is very beautiful they can improve their services

Location was great every place was able to be accessible in minutes the staff was very helpful,food was not so good and not so bad and service was 10/10 at this price I would love to stay here again and we also enjoyed the swimming pool a lot and staff also let us sit for whole day after checking out also and kept our luggage safe even after check out

Had a truly wonderful time at Townsend Hostel! From the warm welcome by Sagar, Vikas, and the ever-helpful Vinod, to the cheerful Akshita at reception, and Rohit keeping the vibes high at the bar—everyone made the stay special. Special thanks to Dheeraj and the entire housekeeping team for taking great care of me, and the chefs for the consistently delicious food. The pool was refreshing, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the place often hosts amazing events that bring it to life. I made great friends and unforgettable memories here. Highly recommended—come with an open heart and leave with a smile! 😊

Good location with a swimming pool and a game area. They have a number of board games and a snooker table. The cafe is good. A good place to stay.

It's amazing experience Sant mahol morning bhajan was the best thing for me the ambiance is excellent and the food and their price was very good, over all excellent experience

It was great stay at downtown neat, clean and well organised. Has good space all around in the hotel clean swimming pool & well maintained drinks & food available at reasonable cost. Would really recommend for stay.

Disappointing Stay at Downtown Anjuna (Booked via MakeMyTrip, Visited May 18, 2025) I’ve stayed in Anjuna multiple times over the past 6 months, and unfortunately, Downtown Anjuna was the worst experience so far. I booked through MakeMyTrip and stayed in a 6-bed dorm (Room No. 7). The room was extremely cramped, the washroom was too small for 6 people, and the bedsheets were dirty and unwashed. The check-in was frustrating — the receptionist was lazy, busy on her phone, and lacked basic hospitality. No greeting, no smile, just zero professionalism. For just Rs. 200 more, you can find far better hostels in Goa with clean rooms and better service.
