Divya Kumbh Luxury Retreat 700m from Sangam by BluSalzz

Not Worth Stay : Divya Kumbh is listed in UPSTDC website as Govt. approved Tent and Luxury Tent. Had high expectations. However, It was not maintained well. Few things which i didnt like were 1) Tent installation floor was inclined or slant which makes you feel imbalance when you walk, Cot was inclined , Stones were placed to balance Cot Legs, had hand pain when i woke up,  2) Toilet or Wash room had Gaps for Mosquito or insects to enter inside ( not expected from luxury tent ) 3) Hot Water was not 24×7 ( not expected from luxury tent ) 4) Travel desk Staff was rude not have patience to explain. For visiting one temple through a bike ride they charge high price. 5) Difficult to find location as Google Map shows some 1.5 km far away location , need to have their location point in advance before visiting else you will loose 15 to 20 mins in searching. Few good Points : Food had options even though not great taste, Outside Hi Tea Ambience was great. Overall , not very happy with this stay. Expected better. Recommend to try less budget stays who will offer better customer experience.

Food was good. Limited hot water in morning only for 2 hrs and that also was not hot. Rooms were not clean and towels seems also not cleaned. Expect more for the price.

It was a very terrible experience. After just one day of staying, my mother’s health deteriorated. There was no fan, no table fan, and no AC. There were mosquitoes, and the bed was hard. It was a very problematic day. They were serving hot water, and there was no cold water to drink. It was a very problematic day, with completely problematic situations. give my refund for 2 days as soon as possible

Good stay food cod have been more simpler but overall a good experience the hosts were decently staffed as huge guards of folks descended for the holy dip . The atmosphere was surreal and ineffable.

The tent which we had booked and paid for was termed as a luxury tent.It was pathetic, dusty and with a broken wooden counter on which the wash basin was kept.The deluxe tents which were at a lower category were better than our accomodation.Inspite of our repeated requests our tents were not changed even though there were plenty of unoccupied tents. There were no tissues or toilet paper in the rooms.The tables where we had to sit and eat had dirty covers.Inspite of our several requests they could not find a clean table cover.The so called high tea had paper cups thrown in a carton for us to pick up and fill our cups from a steel container.The only refreshments was pakodas of cauliflower and potato which were served in the open and were cold. Not only were we disappointed , several others had similar complaints.Over all a terrible experience considering the amount that was charged for one night.Not only us, many other cistomers felt cheated.

Food is not good, same menu for all day. Washroom facilities also poor. Lot of leakages of water. Not hot water coming. Not satisfied compare to prices we have pay for that.

The tent was average like amenities wise there were limited timing for hot water supply n the staff was little rigid in helping.

Stay was very nice and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and courteous. We did not have any problems during our stay. Thank you for an enjoyable experience at the Mahakumbh!!!

Location was good but the tents were not cleaned properly & the bathrooms were not in good condition

Poor management and bad state of Tents and lack of cleanliness. Entire facility is managed with unprofessional people without any knowledge of service or hotel / resort having around 200 tents in the facility.

The entire facility has been designed and manned with short term view. Guests are unwelcome and received with cold attitude and Zero service.

The most important part was the amenities and the services. We paid for three people for one tent. And could not get any facilities that a normal tent should have..leave the luxury. We didn’t get white cleaned bedsheet. We requested but nothing happened. The bedsheets and towels were not cleaned. They had been used and were stinking. After a tired day with lot of walking we couldn’t get a relaxed night. In spite of reminding again and again we even could not get toilet paper in a luxurious tent. These days they are available in train toilets also. No body could clean the tents... rather cleaning was not in their minds. The attitude of the manager whoever it was... was worse. We were feeling cheated, helpless and handicapped. We didn’t expect this from make my trip booking. Food was good. Location was bad. We had very tough time to get to the other part of the city and this property people did not help us at all.

Nice clean tent with humble staff. Good location. Easy access to Sangam ghat. Direct access by car..

Room was not cleaned and dusty. Food was below average for this higher tarrif. Far from triveni sangam.

The food, cleanliness and service was excellent.we stayed there for two nights and all in the group were highly satisfied with the experience.

Tents were very comfortable, view was very beautiful- you could see the sunrise & sunset in all its glory & the river Ganges was a lovely sight below. It was very peaceful yet very close to the ghats & akhadas. Food was excellent. On the whole it was a wonderful stay at Divya Kumbh Retreat. Thank You.

inaacurate description of the property irritating managers dirty toilets and bathing area, dining area dirty, no supply of toiletaries

The service, experience and the extortion of pilgrims was the only souring experience in our Mahakumbh trip. Amit Porwhal and Vijay Upadhyay stand out in this regard, they are charging pilgrims 8000 Rs for an airport transfer. Upon coming to know that one of us was from overseas.nNote the retreat is 740m from Sangam Ghat and not Triveni Sangam. The luxury tents are given to folks with connections, the deluxe tents as luxury tents. The list is endless. ☹️☹️☹️

Location was very serene in midst of so much crowd . Good was very satisfying quantity and quality wise. Amenities were good especially the tent was very impressive. One flaw was now and then we ran out of water and also hot water was available only from 6.30am to 10am. Night when we wanted to bathe after a very taxing journey it was disappointing not to have hot water.

One expects some basic hygiene & Comfort in any place of stay, specially those which charge more than a 5* hotel. If one were to look at the way the food is cooked, they'd never eat anything. No options in the menu, flies have fallen in the food. Room had no Fan, forget AC. No Hot Water and even regular water supply is missing when you want. The management is arrogant and refusing to listen to any suggestions or requests. They've the audacity to say that Snan is what is more important not comforts.
