Camp Thar | Rooms & Pool

The reason I booked this property was swimming pool, upon arrival property manager said it's shut, we don't operate it due to maintenance issues. Also, rooms has lizards. The only good thing was people were good, helpful and the restaurant and service was also above average. But since pool wasn't operating it wasn't worth the money.

Really horrible service and rude staff

Food was terrible and there were very few options available. There's trash all over the place. Dirtiest pool, had not been cleaned in months. Facilities are crumbling down due to lack of attention, like the very dangerous abandoned playground. They didn't even have a sleigh or plastic sheets to enjoy the dunes. All this suggests really bad management.

Staff was very good in behaviour. Rooms were nice and clean. Ambience was awesome. Food can be improved otherwise. Room service was good and complimentary water, soap, paste was given water heater and ac available. 0verall experience was 4. 5/5 would recommend this place to visit.

The stay was very comfortable. The evening performance was also nice and we enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend to stay at this place in osian.

Good experiance to stay at this resort. Staff was very co-opertaive, polite. Food was excellent. Rooms are good. But south indian breakfast should be improve

I had booked dhani cottage. But at the last minute, the hotel didnt give me dhani cottage even if i had booked it 2 months and it was given to some 'influential' people as i learnt. There is no maintenance of the tents at all (hotel staff told me that the rooms got spoil t because of excess rain. There was very limited staff and food is very expensive. Overall it was a bad experience.

The royal tent room is good but the food is average we went for ala carte which was a good option i thought.

Stay was very average…. What was booked / shown was v different They charged good amount for upgrade of room. No swimming pool as advertised Cleanliness was bad Poor restaurant service . Will not recommend this place

Swiz tents are not good. And your bookings are costly than offline

The place was not maintained at all. Rooms and washrooms were not cleaned everyday. No welcome and proper in room service. No intercom. Staff not welcoming and lot of attitude. The manager himself was very reluctant to help or give any proper service.

At the time check in the frontdesk manager did not greeted or welcomed or smiled at all. During bonfire at night, staff did not put additional fuel for our bonfire, even upon asking. He started arguing and spoiled the mood. He was rude. At night later i asked night shift boy for 2 extra towels, for which he repeatedly asked for tips and also mentioned rs 50 tip. After check out, while leaving the premises, the gatekeeper appointed outside, strongly asked for tips. Looks like the staff needs to be trained properly.

Resort is at a peaceful location with excellent staff. The rooms are well maintained with appropriate aminities

Stayed there for a couple of days. Staff overcharged us for the camel and safari ride by a 100. We were also lied about the food to be served, we were told that there'd be a pane-er dish but they ended up serving a haldi dish.

Very good but don't add breakfast and dinner pay at hotel and take by menu otherwise they will offer limited menu if you have already added

This property we enjoyed with as dreams, as a village eco friendly environment. Open sky, dark night, sunset, and beautiful evening was wow. I recommend this place to visit for peace and full of enjoyment.
