It's in a prime location easy to stay and roam around Udupi. Very well maintained. it's like a homestay and very peaceful. We liked the place.

This property is in a prime location of Udupi. The property is located in a quiet surrounding. one can hear birds chirping early in the morning. The room alloted to us was quite small. The care taker family is quite responsive. The amenities in the room are adequate. The house has rats running on the roof false ceiling (on the roof outside the room) making a lot of noise in the night.The approach road to the property is quite narrow but nothing unusual in Udupi.

Property was well maintained by the caretaker Balaram. The rooms were kept neat and intact. Every aspect in the room from clean bathrooms to the fresh bedding and dust free room ,I noticed. Breakfast is not given but is prepared and served if asked. It has a kitchen and a dining area as well. It has a lovely garden and an aesthetic feel of the traditional Mangalore homes. I wanted to stay another day just to be there at the beautiful stay and watch the rain. unfortunately even though it was monsoon, it didn't rain when I was there.. I came here as a solo traveler for the first time and yet, felt absolutely safe. Balaram also helped me fetch an auto in the end as I had a baggage and had to walk to the main road. The caretaker is extremely humble,kind and helpful.

Udupi heritageinn is a pure real home stay , that made me feel homely , the guid was also polite and very good, i would like to recommend and stay again in this stay , thankyou.

Ambience and theme was good ..! But so much disturbance in night ,whole night we didn’t had a proper sleep ..some sound like nook nook from window &roof we called caretaker &enquired they said that cats playing...felt stay was completely disturbed..those cats of stay owners we saw that cats were licking plates and glasses on kitchen slab.. overall bad experience,, don’t go for looks 🙏

Decent place to stay with family and very near by to temple and in city center

(Full review on Google Maps) First impression - Beautiful building from the outside Staff - Not very welcoming. Did not greet us or tell us anything about the place. Rooms - Sadly quite stuffy. Strange smell in the corridor (turned out to be rodent droppings). Very small. A lot of elements (like the cupboard, wall posters, bathroom doors) were cheap/flimsy, emphasised by the contrast with the solid structure of the rest of the property. Large rodents (rats, mongooses, bandicoots?) run around and play above the false ceiling, causing a racket, We found small droppings of whatever rodent they were all along the corridor. We realised that this was also the cause of the strange smell. Security - When we asked for our room to be cleaned, the caretaker asked us to leave the room key in its lock. When we got back in the afternoon, he told us he'd cleaned the room and put the key back in the lock, effectively meaning anyone could have walked into our room while we were away. Cleanliness - The room itself was passably clean. The walls and bedding had seen better days. The bathroom was clean , but no wet/dry separation. Location - Very centrally located I won't say we had a terrible stay; but so much can be very easily improved, because the building itself is stunningly beautiful. I hope this feedback is taken to heart and Udupi Heritage Inn is able to reach its full potential.

It is located in a good residential neighbourhood .. looks good from outside. But rooms are pretty average and one man staff is pathetic.

Location is away from the bust city, yet reachable via walk from local bus stops and auto stands. Rooms are clean and entire property is maintained well

My husband and I booked a room at the Udupi Heritage Inn from 20th - 23rd February. This homestay is about 600 m from the Diana Hotel and in the middle of Udupi city but yet cut away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city. The deluxe double room we booked was small but very neat and clean and so was the bathroom..and there was a big bed with a comfortable mattress which was perfect for a good night's sleep. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance of the Udupi Heritage Inn. The caretaker, Mr. Balaramji was always available and very helpful. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay at the Udupi Heritage Inn.

Very first disappointment was i had booked for 4 adult and 2 children still i was not allotted room with separate bed. It was all fault from manager side completely mismanagement. Further cleanliness and overall beauty of home stay is fantastic

We did not get the room as it was booked by someone else offline. I lost my money in make my trip! we are not able to get proper support from make my trip for this lost money!

Good location and great property. But room size was very small. If food would have been included would have a great stay. Ordering through zomato is not a very unique experience during holidays.

The location of the property is good. Railway station and bus stop is at accessible distance within a radius of 5-5. 5 km. For the attractions we can easily get public transport closer to the property. The room and villa was clean and hygienic with a small beautiful garden outside. The only issue with room was that it was too small.
