The stay was excellent. Shivamji , the owner, left no stone unturned to ensure that we enjoy our stay. The location is cut out from city, but excellent. This was my second visit to Bundi and it was as good as the first one. Team Umaid Bagh goes all out to ensure that our stay is comfortable. Full marks to them for the same. The food too was excellent. A variety of tasty dishes in good quantity at very reasonable prices in all variants veg, non veg and jain makes the stay more homely. Sivamji's rich knowledge about the local histrory, geography, topography, wildlife ensures that you get to the roots of Bundi culture. Thank you once more Shivamji for excellent stay.

A haven wrapped in nature’s grace, Where calm and beauty filled the space. The staff, so kind, with hearts so warm, Made every moment feel like charm. The food delighted, rich and fine, Though at the bar, the prices climb.

Infrastructure wise, well set-up. Food and cleanliness of the rooms are a major issue. Order a chicken dish, sure as hell wasnt chicken at all. Maybe a local bird. Had ro throw the food. Bathrooms not clean.

A very peaceful property, away from city and right into the nature's lap surrounded by hills and a lake front. You'll love it more than the bundi itself. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. The food tastes amazing.

The place is great. Food and the hospitality by the staff was awesome.

After booking a tent we went to the location with an intention to stay but did not stay because all the 40 tents were vacant and ours was the only booking. The manager told us that all the staff would be gone after 9.30 pm. Only one staff would sleep in the office. There was no intercom facility. If you needed anything you have to go to the office and wake up the lone staff member, there was no tv connection. No mobile connection was available. In fact no connectivity of any kind. A house geckko had decided to make the toilet seat her permanent home- ready to leap at the slightest provocation. My wife declared it as a ghostly place and we decided not to check in. The manager did not seem worried by the fact that the only customer who had booked a tent would go away without checking in. A scary place best avoided.

The stay was good overall. The place is quite, lots of bird chirping, lots of greenery and unique setup with tents. The food was ok but not great. Taste was quite bland for our taste and they cheated us on the bills. Since, we were only two people, we ordered half plate curries always and they charged us for full-plate. So do check with them before placing any order. There are better options outside at less prices. There was frequent electricity outage and they start generator only on request for short period.
