Very very worst stay !

Very worst stay ever I had , we payed before check-in itself but after we reach the place asked us to pay additional amount rs.9k and for swimming pool additional per person 750rs charge (very small pool in size). Security deposit 4K (refundable)and we didn’t return that too , he send us through GPay but we didn’t received that amt. Note : There is no cancellation after the payment (before check-in)

This guest booked 3 rooms for 6 people and came 12 people. We still allowed them and the additional guests but they did not pay the charges. When we spoke to Make My Trip they asked us to refuse the additional guests. We have also mentioned there is an additional charge for the swimming pool and they only paid these charges. They only came to have a party and used the dining and living area the full night. The booking is only for the rooms and the guest says they have booked the entire house They have left without paying the additional guest charges. Also they have damaged the wash basin and the panels in the room and we have incurred over 20000 to repair them

There are many promised amenities were not given in the property like swimming pool, private living room etc and so many rules were made when we visited. The property host seem to rude and no proper response.

This guest has not even stayed at our place and requested for a refund or change of dates at last miniute which we have refused since we have reserved the room for this guest and have not sold it to any other guest. We have refunded them the security deposit ans cleaning fees too and I have all WhatsApp communication and refund proof and can post them here

The property is near to the beach, the host mr rohit was very nice. The breakfast was been brought from outside, for the food you need to order from outside. Note: there are extra charges for cleaning purpose, while booking please read the same

Stayed for 4 days last week and was a beautiful property. More than that the host was awesome and very helpful. A must stay when you visit that part of chennai.

Poor Stay

Room was dirty, the pool is only 2 m long and nobody could swim in that. Room was so called pool facing but the balcony was locked and there was no view. Host were good thats why 2 stars. Breakfast was not available till 10 pm so had to skip it anyway. Feels i was ripped off.

This is fake and staged. We emphasize cleanliness. Also the Balcony keys have been provided and guests can open the room. Breakfast is served only after 10 AM.

This is the worst stay ever. This is basically a home and the owners stay here itself and they have a n number of rules. The swimming pool is very small and looks very under average but they are charging extra 750 per head. Very worst

Terrible guests, they want everything to use including the pool for free. It's very clearly mentioned this is a home and also the pool charges have been mentioned on our listing. Let's see if you find a better and cleaner private pool property in Chennai. All properties have rules and these are usually posted behind the doors. They all came as a group to drink and left the rooms in a terrible condition full of litter food and empty liquor bottles

Stay at pod by the beach was extremely unpleasant due to the behaviour of the host. They have been rude and disrespectful. We were literally pushed out during checkout and even had to pay extra for usage of the common area though we had occupied all the rooms on the floor. Never had such a bad experience in any of the previous home stay. Recommend others to stay away from “pod by the beach”

Terrible guests, they booked all 4 rooms and think they booked the entire house, they left the place in a terrible state. They all were single guys and behaved like hooligans and all were drunk and even threatened us. They even took our beers and liquors from the fridge and would refuse to leave the premise since we do have to give them to our waiting guests that were waiting for the rooms. The checkout time is 12 PM and we did request them to check out by 1 PM as we had other guests but refused saying their train was late in the evening, after much pleading we were able to convince them to leave as other guests were waiting. We have entire recordings and can even post them to verify.
